We’re wondering if there’s a better way to ring in 2015 then by spending £2 and taking home £500k, 4 correct scores later? Nope, nothing springs immediately to mind.

This weekend’s Colossus tab on BETDAQ is absolutely bursting at the seems with jackpots to be won! On top of the £10,000,000 Colossus and £2,000,000 HDA15 there’s a monster £500,000 up for grabs on Sunday’s Pick 4, the biggest rollover we’ve ever had!

This has never represented more value on our Football Pools, you’d be mad not to get involved. It won”t be easy though as we’re testing your wisdom across PL, La Liga and League One. Lucky for you we’ve previewed each game below:

Arsenal v Stoke
Ok Arsenal have been really flaky this season and Mark Hughes is building a really decent Stoke outfit but we still find it hard to oppose the Gunners at home. With 100% record over Stoke at the Emirates in the last 12 and the fact Mark Hughes’ hasn’t recorded a victory at the Emirates in his career, we like the Gunners to get it done.

Don’t expect it to be easy though, the Arsenal defence is far from water tight conceding in each of their last 6 games and in Peter Crouch, Stoke have a man who loves scoring against the North London side with 8 goals against them in his career. BTTS Arsenal to win is the shout here but make sure you get the first score right so double up your selections:

Verdict: Arsenal 2-1/ Arsenal 3-1

Man Utd v Southampton
An intriguing Super Sunday clash with arguably the two best sides in the league after Chelsea and City (sorry Spurs fans). Utd have only kept 4 clean sheets in 12 but each of these was just the one goal conceded. They also boast an unbeaten 10 game record (W7D3) and Southampton may find it tough to deal with RVP who has plundered 7 in 7 against them. We really like this Southampton side, and think they’ll score but not sure I’d side with them for the win here given the return of Old Trafford as a fortress (P9W8D1) under Van Gaal. Again, there’s £500k on the line so burn an extra £2 to cover the draw just in case.

Verdict: Man Utd 2-1/ Draw 1-1

Barcelona v Atletico Madrid
Atletico face the big two in Spain back-to-back and confidence will be high after putting Real to the sword during the week, albeit in the Copa Del Rey. Much of this week’s back pages has been awash with reports that all is very much not well in the Nou Camp with club icon Lionel Messi failing to quell rumours that he wants out after a bust up with Luis Enrique. Many would attest that Enrique’s position would become dispensable should it jeopardise Messi’s continued commitment to the club. It’s not exactly an optimum atmosphere to be surrounded in leading up to a big game.

Despite all this unrest Barcelona still have an embarrassment of talent and ability. While the two camps are experiencing wildly differing environments this week I don’t think Torres’ return to Madrid is enough to affect a victory. The sides met 6 times last year and drew 5 of them, not a clouded trend to follow so do so.

Verdict: Draw 2-2

Coventry City v Swindon Town
Who would have thought £500,000 would rest out this but that’s the beauty of our pools! If you’ve got 3/3 you’ve likely been offered a hefty profit to get out of the running with Cash-In but knowing that you can fractionally Cash-In a portion of the jackpot is still yours to win.

Both sides have experienced very similar scorelines against the same opposition recently (both beat Walsall & Port Vale, both drew to Fleetwood). Having said that it’s extremely difficult to look past the league table with Swindon topping the pile and Coventry a lowly 16th. Swindon have won 7 of their last 10 and are 2nd highest goalscorers in the division which we think will relflect in the scoreline.

Verdict Swindon 3-1

No excuse not to make your ticket now, best of luck let’s hope it’s a life changer!
