CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WEDNESDAY: We preview Wednesday’s two Champions League games BARCELONA v PSG and DORTMUND v BENFICA with a recommended BETDAQ bet in each of the second leg games.

BARCELONA V PSG

7.45pm It’s hard to believe that PSG were able to beat Barcelona 4-0 in the first leg, but they absolutely hammered them in every department! Since then, Luis Enrique has come out and said he will be leaving at the end of the season – and judging by the effort that Barcelona put into the first leg, there is/are obviously problems in the camp. The market seems pretty confident in a Barcelona win though, with them trading as short as 1.47, with PSG 7.2 and the draw 5.4.

As is obvious from the first leg, PSG will be no pushover for Barcelona, and Barcelona do look to be too skinny at 1.47 – especially considering that PSG are unbeaten in their last 17 games in all competitions. Obviously we need an early Barcelona goal to make things interesting, however the lack of an away goal for them in the first leg gives them little hope of going through.

The first 20 minutes of this game is so important, that’s obvious. Will the Barcelona heads go down if they don’t score by then? PSG could be a very big price at 7.2 if that was the case, especially when Barcelona will throw men forward. Everything points to an open game though, PSG should enjoy plenty of space going forward and Barcelona are bound to have some success – with this in mind we like over 3.5 goals at 1.99, however PSG just look too big at 7.2 and given the space Barcelona will have to leave at the back, they could easily out score Barcelona in what should be a highly entertaining end-to-end game.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
PSG to beat Barcelona at 7.2.

DORTMUND V BENFICA

7.45pm This is the only clash this week that only one goal separates the sides going into the second leg after Benfica won 1-0 two weeks ago. Dortmund are huge favourites to win in 90 minutes though, as they’re currently trading 1.39 – the shortest price of any side in the Champions League this week. For Benfica, an away goal could be crucial, if they can get one – they currently trading 10.0 with the draw 5.5.

Looking at the first leg, you’d have to say that Dortmund were unlucky to lose. They basically dominated the whole game, and Benfica only scored with the one real chance they had. Still though, you can’t knock their defending – that’s probably what they’ll be doing a lot of tonight too! We feel that Dortmund can win here and go through though, and at around 1.76, look a big price to do so.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Dortmund To Qualify against Benfica at 1.76.
