TWO NAPS AND 12-1 HIT AMONG EIGHT WINNING BETS: Daqman yesterday repeated his Wednesday feat of four winning bets, landing back-to-back naps in the process plus a winner at 12-1 which had been offered at 64.0 on BETDAQ. His Thursday nap was Mont Ras (WON 9-4) after Fencing (WON 9-2) the day before.

PROFITS SOAR TO 115 POINTS IN FOUR DAYS: He’s had four winning days in a row for a total profit of 115 points: Monday 16.20, Tuesday 7.05, Wednesday 49.20, Thursday 42.40 (total 114.85). His last eight winning bets in time order were:

WON 9-2 FENCING (nap) Wednesday
WON 2-1 ESTIMATE Wednesday
2nd 25-1 INTIBAAH (win and place) from 42.0 on BETDAQ Wednesday
WON 3-1 ALBONNY Wednesday
WON 9-4 MONT RAS (nap) Thursday
2nd 20-1 DARKSIDE (win and place) Thursday
WON 12-1 JEWELLED DAGGER (win and place) from 64.0 on BETDAQ Thursday
WON 9-4 SHARP AND SMART Thursday

HOT FOUR IN 1,000 GUINEAS: Whereas few 2,000 Guineas horses matched the key stats for the race, four get full marks in Daqman’s ABCD guide to the 1,000 Guineas. The key is:

A: Official rating of 106 to 119 (8 out of 10)
B: Won or second in Leopardstown 1,000 Trial, Rockfel Stakes, Prix Imprudence, Cheveley Park Stakes, Prix Morny, Marcel Boussac (fillies’ Criterium), Lowther, Park Stakes, Queen Mary, Cherry Hinton, Nell Gwyn (9 out of 10)
C: Had won at least two races (8 out of 10)
D: Stallion stamina index of 7.7 to 9.9 (8 out of 10)

It’s rare to find a horse that’s shorter on BETDAQ ante-post. When you do, you have to sit up and steer your cursor to investigate. Well, there’s one in Sunday’s 1,000 Guineas market.

Though generally 14-1 and 16-1, but as big as 20-1 with bookmakers, Rasmeyaa was 13.0 on the Daq this morning, ante-post as the filly left in by Dermot Weld instead of Big Break and described by him as ‘very good.’

ABCD HOT SNAP Burst on to the Classic scene with a stylish display in the Nell Gwyn, and seems sure to get the Guineas trip (and more) as a half-sister to Midday, three times winner of the Nassau Stakes for the same trainer.

ABCD JUST THE JUDGE Completed a hat-trick, despite having gone in her coat, by winning the Rockfel, one of the more significant trials for this in recent years. Connections upbeat that she has trained on well.

ABCD MAUREEN Cherry Hinton runner-up and winner of the Princess Margaret in her first season (excuses for poor display in the Cheveley Park), she answered the question ‘has she trained on’ by winning the Fred Darling, with the Cheveley Park winner only fourth.

ABCD WHAT A NAME Foiled for a two-year-old hat-trick last season by Olympic Glory, which puts her on a speculative 111. I certainly feel justified in marking her at 106 or above, particularly as she won last month’s Prix Imprudence, currently the top French stepping-stone to victory on Sunday.

ABC SKY LANTERN Sire a sprinter but the dam is related to a Queens Vase winner. That mix got her second to Ollie Olga last August but, stepping up on that on her reappearance, she was runner-up to Hot Snap in the Nell Gwyn..

BCD MASARAH Nearly 10 lengths off Just The Judge in the Rockfel, she won a race from the front at Ascot on Wednesday, which was spoiled by tactics and the poor form of the favourite, Chat. The runner-up had been fifth to Rosdhu Queen in the Lowther last year..

BC MAGICAL DREAM A ‘grand filly still improving’, said Aidan O”Brien after she won a key race for this, the Park Stakes, following her fourth in the Moyglare. Daughter of Galileo and her dam won the Lockinge.

BC WINNING EXPRESS Cheveley Park runner-up, she earned her placed in this field with a decent third in the Nell Gwyn but it’s hard to see her turning round the form with the first two, Hot Snap and Sky Lantern.

CD MELODY OF LOVE North Yorkshire trained daughter of a 2,000 Guineas winner. A late developer but still has nearly four lengths to make up on Just The Judge on Rockfel form of last October.

C OLLIE OLGA Beat Sky Lantern in a Group-3 at Goodwood but stone last in the Fillies’ Mile. Trainer has good record with fillies and is having a fair season.

C ROZ Fillies’ Mile runner-up who prefers a sound surface, earning herself some black type at Sandown (Listed winner) in July. Seems short of top class.

C SNOW QUEEN Full sister to Group 3 winner in Ireland, she was beaten in a nursery last year but stepped up on that in soft ground, third in the Leopardstown 1,000 Guineas Trial.

D CELTIC FILLY Plenty of stamina on the dam’s side and daughter of a 2,000 Guineas winner but OR of only 89 and unlikely connections to spring a surprise.

D DIAMINDA Trainer Alan Jarvis hadn’t had a winner on the Flat in 2013 until Albonny at Kempton on Wednesday, but he’s booked Paul Hanagan for Diaminda, though she’s closely related to sprinters.

D RASMEYAA Dermot Weld has taken Big Break out and left this one in: there’s little form to go on but Weld says the daughter of Guineas and Derby winner New Approach is ‘very good.’

AGENT ALLISON I put this one up ante-post as an outsider with a chance better than the bare form. From a stable doing nothing, she sprouted wings to get within a length of Maureen at Newbury last month.

MOTH Talking ‘horse’ of the race, she is as low as 6-1 with Ladbrokes, with not a lot to recommend her, apart from the obvious: that she’s with one of the world’s top yards at Ballydoyle, and has been supplemented for the race.

BIG BREAK Doubtful runner
