10-1 AND 7-1 WINS IN ONE DAY: Daqman’s Derby-winning weekend, when he landed his fifth Classic of the season, got even better as he celebrated on Sunday with big-odds winners in both France (Champion Hurdle) and Ireland at 10-1 and 7-1.

HE’S TIPPING KING OF EUROPE: He followed up his one-two in the Derby at Epsom with a one-two in the Silver Stakes at The Curragh, making a profit on both Saturday and Sunday, with this round-Europe weekend romp:

WON 13-8 Golden Horn (Epsom Derby, gold banker)
WON 7-1 Postulation (The Curragh, 200.0 in running)
WON 10-1 Un Temps Pour Tout (Auteuil, French Champion Hurdle)

NOW LOOK OUT AT ROYAL ASCOT: That’s the kind of form that could bring huge returns next week at Royal Ascot (see below), and tomorrow he’ll start his countdown to the classic meeting with stats and facts as an advance guide.

BACK-TO-BACK HUNT CUPS AT 28-1 AND 12-1

Ascot here we come! Daqman has pledged to go 100 wins clear of Pricewise in their value challenge at the royal meeting, just when he has hit unstoppable form at international level with:

* Five Classic wins in a row in England, Ireland and France
* Four consecutive gold and diamond bankers
* The last two big winners in France, both Derby and Champion Hurdle.

Royal Ascot starts next Tuesday and to put you bang in the picture so that you can watch the declarations unfold, Daqman will present facts and stats for each big day a week in advance.

Yes, tomorrow, he will simulate the start of Ascot week with a look at what you should know, as ante-post betting gets under way.

IN 2014 Daqman completed 16 bankers out of 20 at the royal meeting, and had three bull’s-eye-bet winners.

IN 2013 Daqman landed Royal Ascot winners at 14.0 (twice) and 10.5 at BETDAQ offers, and made 91 points in four days at the meeting.

IN 2012 Daqman won with Royal Ascot jackpot bets (now called bull’s-eye bets) at 11-1 (from 16.5) and 17-2.

IN 2010-11 Daqman landed back-to-back Royal Hunt Cup winners at 28-1 and 12-1. He had 18 winning bets at the 2010 meeting and won 139 points

HANDICAP BLOT SHOULD LET SUN SHINE

5.00 Ayr Strong Steps (I took 3.25) tried to give weight to the finishers in a better race than this at Sandown on the last day. Makes the long journey North from Newmarket.

Everything behind him in the BETDAQ market – it was 6.8 bar one this morning – seems easy to back, including hat-trick seeker Quest of Colour, who must carry 9lb more and step up two grades on her seasonal debut.

5.15 Thirsk Rachel Richardson is 3-3 at Thirsk this season for Tim Easterby. Her 7lb claim, and the filly’s plum draw in 14, suggest that the button might be pressed on Wiggle, 24.0 on BETDAQ this morning.

7.20 Windsor Tears Of The Sun has crept under the radar. She’s a handicap blot for which The Man cannot be blamed. It’s the way the form has unfolded to make it seem a very hot race.

She’s only 3lb higher (on 83) and down a class from her Brighton success, in which she beat Elbereth, subsequent winner of one of the big handicaps on Oaks Day last week, when she beat horses rated 106 and a 96 in a class 2.

The third home at Brighton won a class 2 at Chelmsford and the fourth horse a Windsor handicap by eight lengths. Today’s race is class 4, and Tears Of The Sun should be odds on.

Her BETDAQ market rivals this morning, Go Sakhee and Persona Grata, have won only at level 5, and I’m all smiles getting 3.65 Tears.

7.40 Pontefract The grey Dawn’s Early Light, offered at 7.2 on BETDAQ, early mouse, could have been let into his first handicap on an easy mark.

‘Dawn’, whose run on the soft last time can be ignored, was beaten a nose by Beardwood over the Pontefract CD in April.

Beardwood was afterwards given an 88 but, presumably because he was then behind a 74 rated (raised to 80) on the soft, ‘Dawn’ has been put on only 77 today.

DAQMAN’S BETS (to win 20 points)
BET 8.8pts win STRONG STEPS (5.00 Ayr)
BET 1pt win and place WIGGLE (5.15 Thirsk)
BET 7.5pts win (nap) TEARS OF THE SUN (7.20 Windsor)
BET 3.2pts win DAWN’S EARLY LIGHT (7.40 Pontefract)
