IT’S A 10-4 LEAD OVER PRICEWISE: Daqman went 10-4 up on Pricewise through Afjaan (WON 3-1) at Haydock yesterday, and scored at Leicester with Time To Exceed (WON 15-8). He has a 20-point banker at Gowran Park today.

GUINEAS ABC GUIDES NEXT WEEK: Daqman files away until next season the best of his Jumps horses to follow, and picks up his Early Birds Flat list, which has already landed six winners. It has runners next week in the Guineas. Look out for his Classic ABC guides.

DON’T FORGET US NEXT SEASON

That’s another season gone! Daqman’s horses to follow over Jumps finished with a winner yesterday. Now here’s Daqman’s pick of them to be carried forward to next season (with their original comments).

11 Altior A chaser so nimble he could win a Champion Hurdle.
24 Blaklion Saved up to avoid a big weight at Aintree
11 Defi Du Seuil ‘He’s on springs’, says trainer Philip Hobbs.
12 Finian’s Oscar The latest star in the Team Tizzard
11 Fox Norton Gets results on good ground
10 Frodon ‘He’ll be a great horse next season’ – Paul Nicholls
13 Native River Progressive stamina-packed stayer,
12 Neon Wolf Unbeaten at different distances
12 Yorkhill Jumping better as the season goes on

Now attention switches to the Flat, but Daqman’s Early Birds to be followed in April and May have already been winning.

FRANKIE BET IN THE BLACK

2.00 Salisbury Eula Varner returns to Salisbury where she was third in September to a colt who finished second in the Esher Cup on Friday, and the fourth horse won on his reappearance in March.

Eula’s yard landed us a winner at Leicester yesterday with Time To Exceed. Offers exchanged at 6.6 this morning. Evens a place covers your win stake.

2.45 Chantilly Frankie Dettori takes the ride on Ribblesdale third, The Black Princess, who should see off Armande, who has always done less on the course than at home but is expected to reverse recent form with That Which is Not.

3.30 Salisbury Richard Hannon has won the last four runnings of the sprint (at 3pm) but I’ve left it alone because he has three declared. He also creates a problem with two in the 5pm.

With rain forecast, good-to-soft ground winner Adamant could take this for Sir Michael Stoute, but be warned that he’s had only two three-year-old winners (2-18 for a strike rate of 11%), while his older horses are doing the winning (4-9 = 44%)

I prefer Elas Ruby from a family that needs cut, and from a stable that is shooting stars this season: 4.9 BETDAQ offers.

John Gosden is leading trainer on percentages at Salisbury (31%) and she is his only runner in England today.

3.35 Gowran Park Rain is also forecast to fall on firmish ground at Gowran creating far-from-ideal betting conditions everywhere.

Turret Rock didn’t win anything last season kept to Group 1, but today represents a huge drop in grade.

Down a notch is Somehow, who has the benefit of a run back, narrowly beaten in a bog at Naas in March.

This is the right level for Beautiful Morning from a stable in form and for Laganore form a stable missing strike at P:unchestown. Somehow’s fitness should tell.

DAQMAN’S BETS
BET 3.5pts win and place EULA VARNER (2.00 Salisbury)
BET 7pts win THE BLACK PRINCESS (2.45 Chantilly)
BET 5pts win ELAS RUBY (3.30 Salisbury)
BANKER BET 20pts win (nap) SOMEHOW (3.35 Gowran Park)
