THREE WINNERS IN A ROW: The Early Mouse bet landed three consecutive winners yesterday in the system being tested by Daqman: you back the favourite in any race where two horses are clear in the early BETDAQ market (7.0 bar two). There are four more today.

McCOY TO MAKE SUN SHINE: What better nap today than Sunblazer as the weather remains dry ahead of the St Leger meeting at Doncaster. Sunblazer runs at Worcester for Kim Bailey and Tony McCoy, currently three from three as a combo.

TOMORROW: BETDAQ KEMPTON CARD: Look out at Kempton Park tomorrow for Daqman’s analysis of four races sponsored by BETDAQ on the evening card there.

‘CUTE’ CUMANI CASE FOR LAWYER

LEICESTER The Oadby track has two class-3 races today. The trio of women trainers in the 7f handicap (4.20) seem to be the three most out of form.

Lady Cecil has had just one horse placed in the last fortnight; Ruth Carr 27 runners without a winner in that time; Jo Crowley 11. You couldn’t back their runners with confidence.

Stall 1 has won three times in the last four years and it’s hard to leave Take A Note out of calculations, though his rise in the ratings has pushed him up a grade to class 3. He’s not been seen at this level in any of his 17 starts.

Verse Of Love, on the other hand, is down in class for only the second time in five races since the Spring. He’s on a losing run of 16 but won four times in 2012 and three in 2013, and his yard is on a hat-trick after winners at Chester and Wolverhampton. The doubt about him is that his success has come on turning tracks.

An even worse losing run is Pastoral Player’s 20 defeats since winning a Group 3 more than two years ago

Richard Hughes takes over on Secretinthepark who was beaten two heads in a class 2 at Doncaster on the last day. He’s dropped in grade for the first time since October 2012 and Hughes could give him the edge over Flow and Outback Traveller, who are closely matched on Yarmouth form.

PERTH Gordon Elliott, who won with his only starter at Perth yesterday, brought three more with him from Ireland, all favourites on the same course today.

Taglietelle (4.25), I C Gold (6.00) and Balbriggan (7.30) are all odds on this morning and I can see some professionals following him, stop at a winner. Balbriggan fits the rules of our Early Mouse bets at the time of writing.

REDCAR There’s a feast of 90 runners by the Yorkshire seaside, the best of them (class 4) running in the straight-mile series (4.00).

Luca Cumani is 4-9 with three-year-olds and older on this course and, while his Tap Your Toes (4.35) should land the odds, a better price for the Newmarket trainer will be Sheikh Mohammed’s Lawyer.

It is hard to work up much enthusiasm from the form book for Lawyer, the form of his Windsor win having been let down since but the cute Cumani doesn’t run horses for punters, and Luke Morris is an interesting jockey booking on his only ride of the day: 10.0 on BETDAQ this morning.

The opposition is modest. It’s three and a half years now since Anderiego won anywhere else but York, while Almuheet seems to have the one pace and may need further on breeding.

Express Himself has given two races away since breaking his maiden on the soft. Both he and Knight Owl are ‘all of a heap’ with Henry The Avator on their form at Leicester last month.

Old rivals Modify and Crakehall lad (5.05) meet again, as the first two in the market here, but beware of Madrasa, a tasty 6.6 offer on BETDAQ early mouse.

Madrasa is a CD winner three times. His form over 14f on a sound surface since June last year is 2141 and Mikey Ennis’s claim takes him 6lb lower than for his last success.

WORCESTER Tony McCoy is 3-3 riding for Kim Bailey and Sunblazer (4.10) looks worth the nap at 4.0 on BETDAQ, as I write.

Bailey, whose yard staged a revival last NH season, is currently in fine form with his four runners in the last fortnight 4112, the last three of those under McCoy

Sunblazer has had a rest since the Spring, when McCoy failed to get the grey home by less than a length, hampered by the winner as they battled at Ludlow.
