18.0 CAT NAP IN THE KERRY NATIONAL: Daqman names 18.0 BETDAQ offer, Chartreux – named after the French national cat – to beat the cream of the Irish for English raider Tom George in today’s Kerry National.

RACE-BY-RACE BETDAQ GUIDE TO KEMPTON: With soft ground forecast on the turf tracks, Daqman leapfrogs the afternoon racing in favour of five BETDAQ-sponsored races at Kempton Park, where he again finds big offers: 14.0, 10.0 (twice), 9.8 (twice) and 8.6

The cat could pounce in the Kerry National at 18.0 on BETDAQ this morning. The grey Chartreux, a rare breed, is officially the domestic cat of France. The grey Chartreux, the horse, is an excellent jumper, who has three things going for him the others wish they had today.

Tom George’s eight-year-old (only 13 races in his life) has youth on his side. You can normally discount horses of nine and above in this and concentrate on young improvers.

Secondly, he’s won over the distance or further over regulation fences, which is true of only five others in the field. Finally, he goes well fresh. Form figures after a break: 113F (13-8 on favourite when fell).

Quantitativeasing is the winner, on a line through Carlingford Lough and Co., if only you could be sure he’d get the trip. That pair hold Jacksons Lady on form, and she needs better ground.

The three of them are among six J P McManus runners, all placed in prep races in the last 50 days, barring Like Your Style. Double Seven’s best form is on top of the ground and Shot From The Hip has to prove himself at this trip.

Tony Martin, fresh from a fantastic Ballybrit meeting, has secured Davy Russell for Gift Of Dgab, returning after 528 days off. Russell had several possibilities – including Romanesco – and Gift Of Dgab, once second in the Leopardstown Arkle, has form after a break of 21F.

Whatever you fancy, take an early position on BETDAQ. The Total SP (returned prices as market percentages) recorded by the bookies for this race in the last nine years was 133, 133, 145, 132, 132, 132, 138, 139 and 140. They’re taking more than a third of your ‘winnings’ away every time.

6.15 Kempton (£200 Free Bets At Betdaq Nursery Handicap): Mark Johnston’s lone ranger, Power Up, has the inside draw for her first handicap. Breeding suggests that this front-runner will be suited by AW.

She lost her action behind Jelly Fish on turf at Beverley but, if forgiven that – she was 6-4 favourite that day – is a massive offer at 10.0 on BETDAQ this morning, weighted to reverse Nottingham form with Stagemanship.

Ultimate Warrioris another handicap debutant, stepping up in trip again, and a big offer at 9.8 for the Hannon-Hughes combo.

6.45 Kempton (Commission Free 1st Month At Betdaq Handicap) Hughesie has an interesting ride here at 14.0 on BETDAQ as I write. Gelding and a minor breathing op could have straightened out 14.0 offer Chief Executive.

Pearl Street, upped in trip from her last effort on today’s course, drops in grade in an effort to redeem some of her $290,000 price tag. She’s 7lb better off with Lybica for a short-head, yet that one is favourite and she is 10.0 on BETDAQ, as I write.

8.15 Kempton (Betdaq 1st Race UK Commission Free Fillies’ Handicap) Hidden Belief and Califante, though better off at the weights, may have difficulty turning things around with Trucanini who beat them readily over CD at the end of August.

Nardin comes out close to this form them on a line thorugh Califante and has been racing in better class on turf. Tasty at 6.6.

8.45 Kempton (Winners Are Welcome At Betdaq Handicap Division 1) Richard Hughes teams up with Dean Ivory, who has been having a great season, and 9.8 Tagula Night can’t be right. Beaten only a neck over CD last visit to Kempton.

Mission Approved looks the big danger, as another down in grade and another returning to AW, on which she won well on her handicap debut at Lingfield.

9.15 Kempton (Winners Are Welcome At Betdaq Handicap Division 2) A firework finish is likely here, with Ziggy’s Stardust and Saloomy both fast front-runners.

Ziggy ran The Dark Wizard out of it over CD in June but I expect Roger Charlton has waved his magic training wand over the three-year-old improver, and I took 8.6 on BETDAQ this morning. I thought it a fair deal for win and place in a nine-runner race.
