EMMET RYAN: It’s been a great couple of weeks for smart bettors thanks to Chelsea, can we keep the good times rolling this weekend? Let’s pick some winners.

Finally, the Special One can get his hands back on the EPL trophy. No matter what anybody else does this weekend, if Chelsea take care of business at home to Crystal Palace they will win the title on Sunday. That’s a big motivation for the Blues but they are taking on a team and a manager that knows how to spoil a title party. Last year, under Tony Pulis, it was Palace who ended Liverpool’s run at the championship. With Alan Pardew this season, Palace ended Man City’s hopes of retaining the title. Pardew already has a shock win over Chelsea under his belt this season while he was still Newcastle manager.

This is a combination that could scare bettors. It could but it shouldn’t because Mourinho is not one for messing about when he is control of his own destiny. Chelsea will win and they will do so with complete control. Don’t expect an upset, don’t expect any level of doubt, this will be Chelsea’s game and they will win it all. Bet on Chelsea/Chelsea on the Half-time/Full-time at 2.

Of course the title isn’t the only thing to keep an eye on as the EPL season winds down. Spurs host Man City in a clash where both teams have ample reason to care. Spurs, for all the talk of them preferring to avoid the Europa League, want to finish as high as possible and get that European spot. City for their part need to keep winning to secure a top three finish and avoid the qualifying stages of the Champions League. I like the visitors to deliver in this one and keep the pressure on Man United and Arsenal. Bet on Man City at 2.06.

Finally we turn to the Gunners whose title charge should be over and done with by the time they take the field against Hull on Monday night. While a championship is out of reach for Arsene Wenger, second place is still his to lose and I don’t expect him to treat any game in the run-in lightly. If Arsenal keep winning, that game in the distance against Man United will be moot in the final standings. I like the Gunners to get the job done here. Bet on Arsenal/Arsenal on the Half-time/Full-time at 2.72.
