In a month of heartbreak I was fully resigned to the final chapter going against me.

So, going in to Saturday with the first three legs already under the belt what other fate could I expect from my four timer?
I needed a Spurs win – and whilst it was never going to be easy when Everton went 1-0 up it looked a lost cause.
Spurs battled back to win 2-1 – and the last couple of minutes produced plausible penalty shouts at both ends.
Thankfully, they hung on and at the last hour the month was turned around.
