WINNING DOUBLE: MULTIMAN got back on track after a couple of days of near misses with a winning double on Sunday which paid 2.13 on BETDAQ MULTIPLES.

After a couple of days of frustration it was a relief to land a double yesterday – even at a short price.

Both Russia and Brazil recorded comfortable wins to land the 2.13 double on BETDAQ MULTIPLES.

Back to the racing and an early across the card double on Monday in two two-year-old races.

2.15 Thirsk
MR LUPTON

Second on debut here to Millennium Falcon but gave the impression the step-up to six furlongs will suit. The draw in five isn’t ideal (high numbers favoured) but he appeals more than Mecca’s Missus who was second of three on debut and well beaten at that. The hope is that the none of the newcomers are above average.

2.30 Ayr
KING’S PAVILION

Mark Johnston’s runners, in general, are improving bundles after their debut runs so there must be every hope that King’s Pavilion can build on the promise of his debut second at Leicester. Although beaten 4 1/2 lengths by the winner, War Department, he put some nice distance in-between himself and his toiling rivals.

The double is paying around 3.92 on BETDAQ MULTIPLES.
