PREMIER LEAGUE SATURDAY: We preview Saturday’s Premier League games with a recommended BETDAQ bet in each. The action is underway at 12.30pm with CHELSEA v WATFORD.

CHELSEA V WATFORD

12.30pm As always, the 12-30PM kick off is 0% commission for all bets on BETDAQ, and this week see’s Chelsea on a recovery mission after losing in their two Premier League games and only drawing at home midweek in the Champions League. Watford arrive full of confidence too, having come from a goal down to beat Arsenal last weekend – that game was at home, however Watford are actually unbeaten away from home so far this season. That does make Chelsea look too short at around the 1.4 mark, especially given the way they have played in their last two games. We expect Watford, who have won three of their four away Premier League games, to give Chelsea a very tough game and at 1.8 +1.5 goals Watford are worth backing, especially at 0% commission.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Watford +1.5 goals to beat Chelsea at 1.8.

HUDDERSFIELD V MANCHESTER UNITED

3pm Huddersfield have failed to find the net in five of their last six matches in all competitions, so maybe Jose Mourinho might not play for an away draw here you might say..! United were cautious once again when playing away midweek in the Champions League, however they got the job done and won 1-0. United have been brushing away sides in the bottom half of the table based on what we’ve seen so far this season, and while it’s away tougher to do that away from home than at home, we expect a relatively easy United win here. Huddersfield have obviously been offering very little going forward, so we feel that United will cover the handicap. They’re trading 2.2 -1.5 goals which looks massive given the amount of goals they’ve scored this season.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Manchester United -1.5 goals to beat Huddersfield at 2.2.

MANCHESTER CITY V BURNLEY

3pm Not many have come to terms with City this season, and next up on the chopping block is Burnley. City have scored a whopping 17 goals in their last three home Premier League games, while they’ve also had two home wins in the Champions League during that time, and recorded away wins of 4-0 and 6-0 too. They are a goal scoring machine at the moment. It’s hard to see how any side can stop them scoring the way they are playing, however it must be noted that Burnley have gone to Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs already this season and came away with points from every game. City tonked Liverpool 5-0 at home though, and beat Chelsea away – so we can certainly say that they look a level above everyone this season. We can’t see Burnley stopping them, and we’re happy to back City on the handicap again at 1.8 -2.5 goals.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Manchester City -2.5 goals to beat Burnley at 1.8.

NEWCASTLE V CRYSTAL PALACE

3pm Crystal Palace finally got off the mark with a brilliant win against Chelsea last weekend! The International break really seemed to help them as they looked a lot more organized than before it, and we’re sure that they’ll attracted many punters at around the 4.3 they are currently trading. Palace were very impressive last weekend, and if they can continue at anywhere near that level then the 2.04 on Newcastle here looks very short. We just feel that this one will be a lot closer than those odds suggest, and Newcastle have to be a lay from a value point of view.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Newcastle at 2.04.

STOKE V BOURNEMOUTH

3pm Stoke got a hammered off Manchester City last weekend, however they weren’t the first side that’s happened to this season and they certainly won’t be the last, so we’re happy to look past that game when thinking about this one. Bournemouth are feeling the heat down in 19th position at the moment, and with Palace winning last weekend things are starting to look very tight down there already. Stoke currently sit in 17th, so a win from Bournemouth would be massive for them, even so early in the season. The thing about Bournemouth though is they just aren’t scoring the goals that they were last season, and with the fact that they’ve always tended to concede, that’s obviously become a huge problem. Stoke have been very good at home, they’ve beaten Arsenal here and drew with United – so we feel that the 2.22 on a home win offers value with Bournemouth struggling to score.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Stoke to beat Bournemouth at 2.22.

SWANSEA V LEICESTER

3pm The football world was shocked when Leicester sacked Ranieri so soon after lifting the Premier League title, and while it not be such a shock to see them sack Shakespeare midweek – you have to consider that the four games that they’ve lost this season have come against Arsenal, United, Chelsea and Liverpool. Maybe winning the title has gone to the owners head..! That being said, they are currently sitting in 19th position, which is obviously poor – however the manager should have probably been given more time considering the sides that they have played so early in the season. Leicester bounced back to perform better after Ranieri went, surprisingly, and while they may do the same here – their odds just look too short. They’re currently 2.78 and given their away form over the past couple of seasons, we have to lay that price.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Leicester at 2.78.

SOUTHAMPTON V WEST BROM

5.30pm Forgive us for saying this, but this game could bore everyone to tears. Although we did finally see Southampton score two goals last weekend against Newcastle, they did concede two as well though to only get a draw. That draw meant that they’ve only won once in their last ten games here and that’s certainly not the type of form you want to see when backing a side at odds on. West Brom haven’t exactly set the world on fire this season, however they have been tough to beat – as is always the way under their manager. They’ve only lost two of their eight games and with the way Southampton have been struggling for goals lately, and especially their home form – the odds look way off here. Southampton at 1.87 screams lay and could be the value bet of the Premier League weekend.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Southampton at 1.87.
