SATURDAY PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview the seven Barclays Premier League games on Saturday with a recommended BETDAQ bet. What a start to proceedings – MAN CITY v CHELSEA at 12.30pm.

Manchester City v Chelsea

12.30pm What a way to kick off the Premier League weekend! Only one points splits the pair with Chelsea top of the league on 31 points and City in third with 30. You have to say that Chelsea are the ones in red hot form coming into this game, they’re on a seven game winning streak and at 3.7 there will be lots of punters happy to back them at that price to make in eight on the spin. However, City are unbeaten in their last nine at home, although the last three of these have been draws which is slightly concerning if you’re backing City at 2.18. It’s hard to get away from the Chelsea price at 3.7 however have recorded just one win here in the league since 2008. Over all, we feel this will be an extremely tight affair and with Chelsea being in such good form, we are happy to lay City at 2.18 to have the draw onside rather than go all out with a Chelsea win. In the First Goalscorer market, it seems obvious to keep an eye on how big Aguero trades as he has now scored in 10 of his last 11 matches for City.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Manchester City at 2.18.

Crystal Palace v Southampton

3pm Crystal Palace were involved in one of the games of the season last weekend losing 5-4 against Swansea – that must have been some turnaround in emotions as they were trailing 3-1, then lead 4-3, then lost 5-3! They’ve now lost six in a row and the pressure on Pardew is ever growing – especially considering how poorly they finished last season too. And with Southampton in great form, boosted by a 2-0 win over Arsenal midweek in the League Cup, they seem massive value at around 2.32 here. Southampton have been ultra solid at the back lately too, and this has been a springboard for their success – compare this to Crystal Palace, who are without a clean sheet in 18 games in a row. It is tempting to lay Palace at 3.55 however Southampton at 2.32 is just too big to ignore.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Southampton to beat Crystal Palace at 2.32.

Stoke v Burnley

3pm On first look at the market you would feel that Stoke look a bit short at 1.68, but when you look at Burnley’s away record this season, you can see why people are happy to back Stoke at those odds. Burnley are without a win in five away, only managing one draw – and with Stoke only losing once in their last eight, they can take advantage of Burnley’s poor away form. However, we still feel that Stoke are a shade short to recommend backing at 1.68, and we’re going to look to the goals market for some value. While Burnley’s games have seen plenty of goals, it has been a case of them conceding more than scoring, and we feel that Stoke will grind their way to a win here rather than win impressively. Under 2.5 goals is 2.06 which we feel is a shade large. It’s also worth checking out what price a Stoke 1-0 or 2-0 win is in the correct score market closer to kick off.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 2.06.

Sunderland v Leicester

3pm You have to say Leicester have been the most disappointing team in the Premier League this season, but at 2.44 to beat the team currently sitting bottom of the table they are worth taking a chance on here. You’ll have to forgive their awful away form this season though, they’ve managed just one draw from six away games thus far. However, Sunderland have been terrible at the back and while Leicester aren’t attacking in the same manner of last season, surely against this Sunderland side they can click into gear. It will be highly disappointing if Leicester can’t win and at 2.44, they are worth backing.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Leicester to beat Sunderland at 2.44.

Tottenham v Swansea

3pm Swansea will no doubt be high on confidence after winning a 5-4 thriller against Crystal Palace last weekend, and Spurs come into this weekend after a week to forget. They were knocked out of the Champions League at the first hurdle before losing their first Premier League game this season against Chelsea. We questioned that unbeaten run in our preview last weekend, noting that they had drawn with some teams they really should have beaten, and the unbeaten stat has somewhat masked the fact that they have been underperforming thus far this season. We feel that backing Spurs at 1.36 doesn’t offer any value whatsoever, and with Swansea banging in five last weekend – we feel they can get on the score sheet here. Both Teams To Score is trading 1.97 and that is the value call here.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Both Teams To Score at 1.97.

West Brom v Watford

3pm Both sides arrive into this game looking to bounce back from disappointment last weekend, with West Brom only managing a draw against the struggling Hull and Watford losing at home to Stoke. Both have been playing well this season, and currently sit 8th and 9th in the table with just a point between them. Watford have impressed at times this season, and we feel that there shouldn’t be such a big difference between the sides in the market here. West Brom are currently 2.24 while Watford are trading 3.85. In what should be a tight affair between two even matched sides, the West Brom lay appeals at 2.24.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay West Brom at 2.24.

West Ham v Arsenal

5.30pm West Ham were lucky to hold Man United to draw last weekend, and United corrected that wrong midweek in the League Cup. Arsenal crashed out of the Cup too against Southampton, however Wenger chose to rest a few first team players, meaning they should be fresh for this encounter – and the 1.77 on Arsenal looks too big to resist here. West Ham have conceded in their last six games in all competitions, while Arsenal have netted 13 goals in their last five away games in the league. We feel that a rested Arsenal side will be far too strong for West Ham and with the form that Arsenal are in at the moment, the 1.77 looks massive.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Arsenal to beat West Ham at 1.77.
