SATURDAY PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview all of Saturday’s Premier League games with a recommended BETDAQ bet. Leaders Chelsea strike first at 12.30pm – can they extend their advantage with a win at Palace?

Crystal Palace v Chelsea

12.30pm We kick off the Premier League weekend with the unstoppable force of Chelsea visiting Crystal Palace. They’ve now won ten on the bounce and with Crystal Palace losing seven of their last nine, it’s hard to see anything but a Chelsea win here. Recent Palace games have been good watch, with plenty of goals – indeed all six of their recent games have seen over 2.5 goals so that will interest many here at around the 1.8 mark. Especially with the form that Chelsea have been in, surely they can find a way through the Palace defense a few times given they have conceded 15 goals in those last six games. We just feel though that Chelsea are too big in the match odds market at 1.62 to ignore, and while we fancy goals, a Chelsea win looks to be the value.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Chelsea to beat Crystal Palace at 1.62.

Middlesbrough v Swansea

3pm Swansea had given themselves a chance of getting out of the relegation zone with a 3-0 win at home to Sunderland last weekend only to lose 3-1 at West Brom midweek and they stay in 18th. Middlesbrough have been impressive at the back this season but suffered their heaviest defeat thus far when losing 3-0 to Liverpool midweek, however Klopp’s men have been playing some excellent football and we expect Middlesbrough to recover and win here. It’s an obvious thing to say that they haven’t been as good going forward as they have at the back, and every win for them is usually a grind, however Swansea will surely give them chances. They’ve conceded 16 goals in their last six games and that includes a clean sheet at home to the lowly Sunderland. Middlesbrough at 2.14 appeal to grind out another hard fought win.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Middlesbrough to beat Swansea at 2.14.

Stoke v Leicester

3pm After taking advantage of Man City’s woeful defending and thumping them 4-2, it was bitterly disappointing to see Leicester lose to Bounrmeouth midweek. You’d have to think that the City win would have given great confidence, and while Bournemouth have been decent this season – you’d have to feel that Leicester should be beating those sides given they’re Premier League Champions! We’re faced with a similar question here, Leicester of last season would beat this Stoke side, but can you trust them? We have to lean towards no after watching the game midweek, and now they’ve gone ten away games with out a win – we have to lay Leicester at 3.05.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Leicester at 3.05.

Sunderland v Watford

3pm Sunderland put up a decent performance midweek against the in-form Chelsea, and given what they have done to other teams in their ten game winning streak, it is no shame to lose 1-0 given that Sunderland are obviously not on their level. They will fancy their chances of picking up some much needed points here against a Watford side who have lost four of their last six – and didn’t offer a huge amount going forward when losing 2-0 to City midweek. Disappointing given that City have been struggling when teams have been going at them, but Watford just couldn’t do that. However, all that being said – its tough to commit to backing the side who sit bottom as a favourite, and we feel the value here lies in the draw at 3.35, in what should be a close game.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Draw at 3.35.

West Ham v Hull

3pm West Ham continued their decent run of late with a solid 1-0 win over Burnley on Wednesday night following on from their 2-2 draw against Liverpool last weekend, that brings them to just three losses in their last ten. Given the way they were defending at the start of the season, its been a good turnaround for them and they should be able to pick up another three points here. Hull were able to pick up draws recently against Palace and West Brom, but Palace have been struggling and Hull sit in 19th having lost their last six away from home. West Ham look big at 1.66 to make that seven away losses for Hull.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
West Ham to beat Hull at 1.66.

West Brom v Manchester United

5.30pm United left it late to get all three points midweek against Crystal Palace and at around the same price to win here, they don’t look value. Palace have been struggling of late and it was a good chance for United to win, they still made hard work of it though and they face a West Brom side who have lost just three of their last 12. Those three games came against Chelsea, Liverpool and City too, and while United might be in the similar class as them, the 1.76 looks short. Looking at the stats on United, they don’t seem to be scoring enough – those two goals against Palace was just the second time in their last ten in the Premier League to score more than once, and with West Brom winning their last three at home while also scoring 13 in their last six, the United lay appeals a lot at 1.76.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Manchester United at 1.76.
