PREMIER LEAGUE: Another big weekend of Premier League action and Spurs get the chance to close the gap on Chelsea if they can beat Watford in the 12.30pm kick off. We preview each match with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

TOTTENHAM V WATFORD

12.30pm After a busy list of midweek fixtures, we kick off the weekend with Tottenham v Watford. Watford wont be looking forward to this one as they’ve never managed to score against Spurs in their seven Premier League meetings, they did manage two 0-0 draws though. Spurs have been in excellent form at home season, winning 13 of their last 15 while drawing the other two. It’s hard to see anything but a Spurs win to open the weekends action and at around 1.3 they’ll be in a lot of peoples BETDAQ Multiples. We like them on the handicap too as they are in such good goal scoring form, and the 1.83 on the -1.5 goal handicap looks good value.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Tottenham -1.5 goals to beat Watford at 1.83.

MANCHESTER CITY V HULL

3pm Just like the Tottenham v Watford game, we’ve another very short odds favourite here. Manchester City are currently 1.22 in the match odds market, and while Hull are vastly improved in recent weeks, it’s hard to expect anything other than a home win for Pep Guardiola’s men. City have had three tough matches on the bounce though, and won none of them. They started the run with a draw here against Liverpool, then drew away to Arsenal and lost on Wednesday night against Chelsea – they will welcome more calmer waters against this Hull side but they could be mentally drained after those games, and Hull arrive full of confidence after scoring four on Wednesday. We feel City will win in the end but Hull can keep things tight and stay in the game, so Hull +2 goals at 2.1 on the Asian Handicap appeals (bets void if City win by exactly two).

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Hull +2 goals Asian Handicap to beat Manchester City at 2.1.

MIDDLESBROUGH V BURNLEY

3pm This is a really tough one to call. It’s almost like that is the lesser of two evils. Middlesbrough are woefully out of form and probably playing like the worst side in the league right now – only Sunderland can challenge them for that – and if you were thinking of laying the home side, you have to consider that Burnley are yet to win any of their 15 away games in the Premier League this season. While it’s a tough decision, we feel the odds make it easy. Middlesbrough are 2.48 while Burnley are 3.4 and for two sides with woeful form (in Burnley’s case, away form), we feel that the odds should be closer together, and the value call is to lay Middlesbrough. They haven’t won any of their last five here, so we don’t see an advantage for them being home, and while Burnley struggle away – they can get a draw here given Middlesbrough struggle so much up front.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Middlesbrough at 2.48.

STOKE V LIVERPOOL

3pm Liverpool were left disappointed on Wednesday night after a late Bournemouth goal, and they face a tricky trip to Stoke off the back of five away games without a win. The problems for them seem to be coming from the back, and looking at the stats – they’ve only kept six clean sheets in Klopp’s 30 away Premier League games in charge – you just cant keep giving away goals at this standard. They’ll be please to play Stoke though, who they have a great record against – they’ve won six of the last seven meetings, and two of their last three trips here too. It’ll no doubt be a tough afternoon for Liverpool, however they do look good value at 1.97 for the win and it is too tempting not to back those odds considering their record against Stoke.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Liverpool to beat Stoke at 1.97.

WEST BROM V SOUTHAMPTON

3pm Southampton got a much needed win at the weekend against Crystal Palace, and they will be hoping they can kick on and finish the season strongly. They’ll face a really tough afternoon here though trying to beat West Brom, who have been superb at home this season. West Brom have won eight of their last ten home games, and considering that Southampton have only managed to win four times in their last 15 Premier League away games, you can certainly make the case that West Brom are the value here. We strongly feel that this one will be closer than the match odds suggest, and with West Brom 3.2 and Southampton 2.56 – the value is with the Southampton lay for us.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Southampton at 2.56.

WEST HAM V SWANSEA

3pm After somewhat turning things around, Swansea are now having a bad run and slipped back down into the relegation zone after the results midweek. If they are to survive, they really have to be winning games like this one – on paper it might look like a tough trip, however West Ham have lost their last five in a row in the Premier League, and only managed one win in their last six at home – losing three of their last four. It’s obvious West Ham are out of form, and Swansea need to take advantage. They aren’t exactly buzzing themselves though, you can excuse them losing to Spurs during the week – however in the three games before that, they could only manage a 0-0 draw with Middlesbrough and lost to Bournemouth and Hull. It’s probably wise to stay away from the match odds market here, and we like the look of over 2.5 goals at 1.82 – both sides are struggling at the back and should offer up plenty of chances in what could be a very end-to-end game.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 1.82.

BOURNEMOUTH V CHELSEA

5.30pm After a shock loss at home to Crystal Palace, Chelsea steadied the ship with a 2-1 win over Manchester City on Wednesday night. A four point lead would have almost felt tiny compared to their ten point lead if they had lost that game, and they should follow that win over City up with another win here. They have a great record against Bournemouth, winning six of the last eight meetings in all competitions – and they have a superb record away from home in the league too, they’ve lost just once in their last 12. Bournemouth performed well to get a late draw against Liverpool midweek at Anfield, and while they will make life difficult for Chelsea, we cant get away from the league leaders to win here at 1.62 which looks great value.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Chelsea to beat Bournemouth at 1.62.
