PREMIER LEAGUE SATURDAY: We preview Saturday’s Premier League games starting with Man City v Crystal Palace at 12.30pm. Get our verdict on each game with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

MANCHESTER CITY V CRYSTAL PALACE

12.30pm It hasn’t been a good first season at Manchester City at all for Pep Guardiola, and he is in desperate need of a win here. It may have been disappointing to draw at home to United, but to draw last weekend with Middlesbrough would have been bitterly disappointing. The markets full expect a home win here though, with City trading as short at 1.29! That looks pretty short given the football Palace have been playing recently – they’ve beaten Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool. However, they suffered a shock defeat at home to Burnley last weekend, that was Burnley’s first away win in the league all season and it certainly wasn’t expected. We feel from a value point of view that we want to be against City here, and the 1.8 on Crystal Palace +2 goals in the Asian Handicap markets looks like a good position.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Crystal Palace +2 goals (Asian Handicap) to beat Manchester City at 1.8.

BOURNEMOUTH V STOKE

3pm Bournemouth look a big price here at 2.26. Apart from losing to Spurs and Chelsea, they have been in good form recently – they netted four goals in their last home game, held Liverpool to a 2-2 draw in Anfield and held Southampton to a 0-0 away from home before that too. Given that Stoke have only managed one goal in their last six away games, it’s highly possible that Bournemouth can keep a third clean sheet in a row here. Stoke have also lost five of their last seven games – they are finishing the season with a whimper and Bournemouth can take advantage. We feel that 2.26 is at least 20 ticks too big and it looks one of the best bets today.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Bournemouth to beat Stoke at 2.26.

BURNLEY V WEST BROM

3pm Burnley got a shock away win last weekend against Palace, it was their first all season! They had played 17 away games before that one without a win. With results like that you might think that they were in trouble, however their home form has been good and it has kept them in relative safety all season, they are seven points above the relegation zone. West Brom have had an impressive season, however they are now finishing in an ambulance as the saying goes. They’ve only managed one win in their last eight games, and have now lost their last four coming into this. They are in woeful form, failing to score in seven of those eight games – and haven’t found the net in their last five on the spin. With form like that, it’s impossible to support West Brom in the markets, so the Burnley win at 2.3 makes appeal – especially considering their home form.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Burnley to beat West Brom at 2.3.

HULL V SUNDERLAND

3pm This is a massive game for Hull, who really need the three points here. We say that because they still have tricky games against Spurs and Crystal Palace – so this one could be crucial when deciding their faith. It’s hard to know what to expect from Sunderland now that they’ve been relegated – however they’ve basically gone down without a fight. They’ve lost eight of their last ten, and failed to score in nine of those – so it’s hard to see them putting in a extraordinary amount of effort here. Hull are unbeaten at home since Marco Silva took over and if they stay up – it will purely be because of that home form. They’ve won six of those seven, and with Sunderland playing some really poor football it’s very hard not to see them winning here.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Hull to beat Sunderland at 1.5.

LEICESTER V WATFORD

3pm Leicester got back to winning ways last weekend against West Brom, and with Watford’s away record there’s no reason to think that they can’t follow that up with another win here. Watford have failed to score in seven of their last nine away games, they’ve also lost nine of their last 11 away too. Even when Leicester were struggling at the start of the season and around Christmas, their home form was still reasonable. They’ve won their last four at home in the league and with Watford struggling, the home win here makes huge appeal at 1.63.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Leicester to beat Watford at 1.63.

SWANSEA V EVERTON

5.30pm Swansea will be keeping an eye on the Hull result earlier in the day, and they have a decent chance of winning here as Everton haven’t been great away from home this season. Swansea have won four of their last six at home, however most of their recent games have been away from home – meaning they’ve only recorded one win in their last eight. On face value, Swansea might seem a little short at 2.82 compared to Everton, however Everton have only managed two wins in their last 15 away games, so with stats like that it’s hard to back them at 2.68 or lay Swansea at 2.82. We feel the call here is to be with the draw, especially at the odds – it’s currently trading 3.55 and that looks good value to us.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Draw at 3.55.
