PREMIER LEAGUE TUESDAY: We preview Tuesday’s two Premier League game between ARSENAL v SUNDERLAND and MAN CITY v WEST BROM with a recommended BETDAQ bet on each game.

ARSENAL V SUNDERLAND

7.45pm With their 4-1 thrashing of Stoke at the weekend, Arsenal have given themselves one final chance at a top four finish, however they’ll need Manchester City to slip up at some stage. After going through a crisis not too long ago, they seem to have come through it OK and have now won five of their last six. It will still be a poor season by Arsenal standards though not to finish top four, and they were embarrassed in the Champions League, so who knows what might happen Wenger in the summer.

They should win comfortably tonight against the lowly Sunderland, who seem to have got worse this season under David Moyes. They’ve lost nine of their last 12, and just when they were fighting to stay in the Premier League, they couldn’t manage to score in ten of those games! The markets full expect a home win, with Arsenal trading 1.12 at the time of writing. Given they have found their goal scoring touch lately, and that Sunderland have seemingly given up looking at their performance at home at the weekend in their 2-0 loss to Swansea, Arsenal at 1.9 -2.5 goals appeals as the value.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Arsenal -2.5 goals to beat Sunderland at 1.9.

MANCHESTER CITY V WEST BROM

8pm As we mentioned above, if City slip up Arsenal still have a chance of top four – so it’s all to play for tonight. City will be pleased to welcome West Brom though, who appear to have gone on their holidays early this season. They did put up a good fight against Chelsea on Friday night, but ultimately it was their fifth loss in six, and that’s six games from their last seven where they haven’t managed to score.

It’s hard to see how they can stop City scoring here, so arriving here off the back of that kind of goal scoring form just has to be a major negative. Especially as City banged in five against Palace recently, and after their game against Leicester at the weekend they’ve scored 13 goals in their last six games, and that includes a dull 0-0 with United.

City are trading short in the match odds market as they currently only trade 1.17, however they may not thrash West Brom. While West Brom are on a losing run and struggling to score – you can’t say that they’ve been leaking goals – the last four loses have been to a 1-0 scoreline. So for that reason we feel that City look too short on the 2.5 goal handicap, we expect a comfortable City win, however West Brom are trading 1.89 +2.5 goals which is a nice start for a Tony Pulis side, and that looks the value.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
West Brom +2.5 goals to beat Manchester City at 1.89.
