SHAMROCK AT DUNDALK: Irish racing resumes this evening at Dundalk and SHAMROCK’s best bet of the night runs in the maiden at 6.35.
After what seems a lengthy break Irish racing resumes on the Polytrack at Dundalk tonight.
The Jessica Harrington trained Period Piece shaped well here in December when second to Sgt Rock on her debut when she went off an 11/4 chance.
The step up to seven furlongs should suit too as she was staying on well at the end of that six furlong contest.
Navegante also showed promise on his debut when a close up third to Shannon Soul over a mile.
He looks the biggest danger.
