DUNDALK NAP: SHAMROCK finds a NAP on the busy Dundalk card on Friday.

Slightly unfortunate not to land the NAP and NEXT BEST at Clonmel yesterday.

Outlander (nap) looked to have the Clonmel Oil Chase in the bag before coming a cropper at the last and later in the afternoon Westerner Lady resumed her winning ways by landing the next best in the Grade 3 Mares Chase at even money.

A busy eight race card at Dundalk tonight with 124 horses in action.

In the 1m 4f maiden at 8pm there has been morning support on BETDAQ for The Paris Shrug who is clearly expected to improve from her Navan debut where she finished in mid-division having gone off at 33/1. Her dam was a winner on the all-weather so the money is of interest.

There’s not much form on offer. Galaxor improved on his Killarney debut to finish third at Tramore last time. The form looks reasonable. The winner Prince Charmin’ shaped well in handicap company here subsequently and the runner-up Propriano has won since, also here at Dundalk.

In the hope that the debutants aren’t anything above average (especially fearful of the Joseph O’Brien trained Kalopsia) Galaxor might well be good enough tonight.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Galaxor (8.00 Dundalk)
