It’s really hard to get away from the chances of the ten-year-old raider Take Cover who won this in 2015.
He couldn’t be in better form coming into this and is on for a hat-trick after making all to win the Beverley Bullet last month and repeating the front running tactics to win a Group 3 at Newbury last time out.
He gets pole position of one in the stalls and should prove too strong for the two-year-old Declarationofpeace who won a much weaker race here last time when going off a 1/7 fav but two-year-olds have never won this race.
