Flat racing from Navan tonight and a jumps card from Cork.
The Godolphin owned, Mick Halford trained, Mirror Man looks the answer to the six furlong maiden at Navan at 6.30pm.
It looks a sensible move to drop him back in trip – he’s a front runner who found the seven furlongs too far at Fairyhouse last time out.
This looks quite a weak event and he is preferred to Sammyjade who is now nine runs without a win but ran her best race to date when second to Pious Alexander at Tipperary last time out but that came over the minimum trip and I’ve a suspicion that she will need the ground with give to show her best.
