TRIPLE DELIGHT: It was another perfect day for SHAMROCK yesterday – his 4th in the last 5 days. His NAP Hi Emperor WON 5/4 and his lay and place lay of Delight (at 9/4 and 4/5 respectively) was successful giving him three winning tips out of three !

When in doubt, Mullins will sort you out. OK, I just made that up but it’s a philosophy that many punters will employ at a hugely trappy Tipperary jumps card this evening.

The Willie Mullins trained Glens Melody goes for a hat-trick in the final race and the presence of Summer Star will ensure the price holds up in what should prove a battle between the two fillies.

I prefer the profile of Glens Melody who was relatively unfancied at Punchestown on her debut when 11/1 but stayed on really well to beat stablemate Tasitiocht who herself stayed on really well to win at Kilbeggan last week when I napped her.

Glens Melody went on to win at Sligo, landing the odds in fine style and remains an exciting prospect.

Summer Star was pitched in at the deep end last time in the Betchronicle.com Champion I.N.H. Flat Race and don’t be misled by her fourth form figure. She was beaten nearly 60 lengths and toiled in the heavy ground. Her previous form is decent though, including a win in a listed Limerick bumper, and is a big challenge for Glens Melody, who is my only bet of the day.
