SHAMROCK BIDDING FOR NAPS HAT-TRICK: SHAMROCK bids for a naps hat-trick on Saturday after his nap and ONLY bet of the day Arif WON 4/5 at Dundalk last night.
It was a hard fought success for Arif at Dundalk last night but he held on by a neck to land the nap and set up the hat-trick today.
Thu: DON COSSACK (NAP) WON 6/4
Fri: ARIF (NAP) WON 4/5
There are two Graded races on the Naas card this afternoon.
1:20 Limestone Lad Hurdle (Grade 3) (5yo+, Class 1, 2m 3f, 6 runners)
A rare race in which the Willie Mullins trained runner doesn’t stand out. Preference has to be for Kitten Rock who bids for a hat-trick and was quite impressive in the Listed Irish Independent Hurdle at Limerick last time out beating Max Dynamite by 14 lengths. He previously won a Grade 3 here over a shorter trip and looks the pick today.
1:55 Woodlands Park 100 Club Novice Chase (Grade 2) (5yo+, Class 1, 3m, 5 runners)
Rule The World won the Limestone Lad Hurdle on this day last year and can win over fences here. He has a touch of class and wasn’t disgraced in sixth in the Ladbrokes World Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival and was only pipped a nose on his chasing debut at Fairyhouse.
SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Kitten Rock (1.20 Naas)
NEXT BEST: Rule The World (1.55 Naas)
