HAT-TRICK NAPS BIDS: SHAMROCK bids for a NAPS hat-trick on Saturday on the final day of the Punchestown Festival.

My Tent Or Yours landed my place NAP yesterday at Punchestown with his second place in the Betdaq Punchestown Champion Hurdle.

I’m bidding for a NAPS hat-trick today and will again look at the two Grade 1 races on the card for the best bets.

3:50 Irish Stallion Farms E.B.F. Mares Champion Hurdle (Grade 1) (4yo+, Class 1, 2m 4f 110y, 7 runners)

A hugely pivotal race in the trainer’s championship and might well go the way of Gordon Elliott and Apple’s Jade who is taken to follow-up on her Cheltenham Festival success in the OLBG Mares’ Hurdle.

She beat Vroum Vroum Mag that day and can again see off the strong Mullins challenge – this time Karalee in chief opposition.

Walsh is onboard the lightly raced Karalee who is pretty hard to assess but she did look good when romping home at Limerick last time out.

4:25 AES Champion Four Year Old Hurdle (Grade 1) (4yo, Class 1, 2m, 7 runners)

This could well be another Mullins v Elliott clash and preference is for Mega Fortune (Elliott) after his excellent second to Defi Du Seuil in the Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

The Willie Mullins trained Bapaume was only a short head back in third and the pair are hard to split again.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Apple’s Jade (3.50 Punchestown)
NEXT BEST: Mega Fortune (4.25 Punchestown)
