NOW THREE NAPS IN A ROW: Rock solid SHAMROCK landed his third consecutive winning NAP on Saturday with Mr Rock. He bids for a four timer on Sunday following winning naps at 2/1, 5/4 and 4/11.

Mr Rock bolted home by seven and a half lengths to land the nap yesterday but the price was severly compressed after the withdrawal of Thunder Zone.

It does however mean that the last three NAPS have all won:

Thursday: TESTED (NAP) WON 2/1
Friday: STORM AWAY (NAP) WON 5/4
Saturday: MR ROCK (NAP) WON 4/11

There are good Irish cards today over the jumps at Cork and at the Curragh:

2:35 Flame Of Tara European Breeders Fund Stakes (Fillies’ Listed) (2yo, Class 1, 1m, 7 runners)

The three debutants aren’t especially strong in the market so preference has to be for Jack Naylor after her impressive win at Leopardstown last time out in a Group 3. The market didn’t give her much of a chance that day as she was up in class and sent off a 14/1 chance but stayed on strongly and should be suited by the mile trip here. She should be able to give the weight away. David Wachman’s Legatissimo is another likely to be suited by the step up in trip but the bare form of her Galway win doesn’t look anything special at the moment.

3:05 Nestle Supporting Irish Autism Action Round Tower Stakes (Group 3) (2yo, Class 1, 6f, 7 runners)

Despite winning it last year with Great White Eagle, this isn’t a race that Aidan O’Brien has excelled in over the years. He runs War Envoy here who ran a good race over C&D last time out to take third to Kool Kompany in the Group 2 Railway Stakes. He returns after a short break and should go very close.

3:35 Xtravision & HMV Supporting Irish Autism Action Dance Design Fillies Stakes (Group 3) (3yo+, Class 1, 1m 1f, 10 runners)

It’s really hard to look beyond Carla Bianca as she still seems to be improving. On Gowran Park form she should again hold Alive Alive Oh who ran her best for a while in the Hurry Harriet Stakes. Carla Bianca’s stablemate Afternoon Sunlight appeals in the place market having finished a close second to Parish Hall here last time out.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Jack Naylor (2.35 Curragh)
NEXT BEST: War Envoy (3.05 Curragh)
PLACE: Afternoon Sunlight (3.35 Curragh)
