SHAMROCK BID FOR 4 NAPS IN A ROW: SHAMROCK landed a NAPS HAT-TRICK on Saturday thanks to Blue De Vega (NAP) WON 11/10.

Blue De Vega comfortably handled the step up in class yesterday to win the Group 3 Killavullan Stakes at the Curragh and surely will tilt at bigger prizes after his smooth three and a half length success. I’m very sweet on this horse and particularly like the way he travels during his races.

That now means the last THREE NAPS HAVE WON !!!

Thu: DANI THEATRE (NAP) WON 2/5
Fri: TAKE COVER (NAP) WON 3/1
Sat: BLUE DE VEGA (NAP) WON 11/10

Flat and jumps racing on Sunday at Leopardstown and Galway respectively.

The Tote November Handicap is the feature on the day but looks too tough for me to solve (DAQMAN is braver and has a selection!).

I am going to try and keep the naps sequence going with the Dermot Weld trained Waitaki in the opener at 12.50 (yes, race times are starting earlier now !!).

She was completely unfancied at 33/1 on debut when second to stable companion Kalisma at Naas but kept on well in the closing stages under just a hands and heels ride.

The form looks reasonable enough (4th has finished 2nd since) and it’s pretty much guaranteed she’ll improve significantly for that debut effort.

Aidan O’Brien has three in this but none so far attracting significant interest in the BETDAQ market.
