SLOWMOTION FINISH AT LIMERICK: SHAMROCK looks at the Grade 2 Charleville Cheese E.B.F. Mares Novice Chase at Limerick this afternoon.

Feature race at Limerick this afternoon is the Charleville Cheese E.B.F. Mares Novice Chase at 4pm which can go to the Joseph O’Brien trained Slowmotion.

It might well be a slow motion finish too on the heavy ground but it’s testing conditions that Slowmotion revels in and she comes here chasing a hat-trick after two wins on soft ground at Naas.

Three starts ago she finished a 17 length second to Let’s Dance at Leopardstown and that form took a considerable boost with Let’s Dance winning the Trull House Stud Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival last week.

Slowmotion won a Listed race in good style last time out and should prove too strong for the Willie Mullins trained Daisy’s Gift who was an even money faller at Thurles last time out.

Goulane Davina won a beginners chase at Clonmel last time out on heavy ground but this represents a big step up in class.
