SHAMROCK AT NAAS: SHAMROCK previews the two Graded races on the Naas card this afternoon.

Two Graded races at Naas this afternoon.

3:30 PP Novice Hurdle (Grade 2) (4yo+, Class 1, 2m, 8 runners)

Looks refreshingly competitive given some of the small fields we’ve seen recently chasing big prizes. It has to be Don’t Touch It for me here. The Jessica Harrington trained runner deserves to take this step up in class having run consistently well at a lower level. He stormed home to win his maiden hurdle at Leopardstown last time out beating the Willie Mullins trained Beau Mome by 13 lengths. Au Quart De Tour looks the biggest danger after he made up for his Fairyhouse fall with a comfortable win at Gowran Park last time out.

4:05 PP Chase (Grade 2) (5yo+, Class 1, 2m, 7 runners)

Days Hotel bids for a hat-trick here after wins in 2013 and 2014 but Bright New Dawn is taken to follow up on his Clonmel success last time out when he had quite an easy task in a three runner race. He chased home Felix Yonger in a Grade 2 at Navan in December.
