CARAVAGGIO THE STAR ATTRACTION: The unbeaten Caravaggio makes his seasonal reappearance in the Group 3 EMS Copiers Lacken Stakes at Naas this afternoon.

All eyes on the unbeaten Caravaggio who is very much the star of the show at Naas this afternoon.

Aidan O’Brien’s runner will be a short price but looks mighty tough to oppose in this Group 3. He is versatile ground wise as he proved when winning the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot (soft) and the Group 1 Keeneland Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh (good to firm).

The Jessica Harrington trained Khukri looks best of the rest judged on his win in a Listed race at Navan last time out but there seems a gulf between his form and that of the selection.

Team Harrington should defy O’Brien in the earlier Listed sprint at 3.45 with Alpha Centauri who was very impressive on debut when beating the O’Brien trained Actress who has won since and is back again today. That form should be upheld.

Both selections are short today so I am napping the double which weighs in around 2.20 (or 6/5 in old money) on BETDAQ MULTIPLES.
