SMOULDER PROVES RED HOT 7/4 NAP: SHAMROCK landed a 7/4 WINNING NAP from his only bet on Wednesday – Smoulder at Dundalk.
A comfortable win from Smoulder, the nap, at Dundalk last night who won at 7/4 having travelled particularly well in the race.
Back to the jumps tonight for the card at Tipperary which has attracted some huge field sizes – 119 runners in the eight races.
I though the Willie Mullins trained Fabulous Saga looked an opposable favourite in the closing bumper at 8.40. This one was a beaten odds-on favourite at Cork last time out and there seemed no obvious excuses.
At better odds the Henry de Bromhead trained Celtic Rising might be the one. He makes his debut under Rules but won a point to point at Dungarvan in fine style and clearly has plenty of ability.
