SHANNING TO MAKE IT TWO FROM TWO: SHAMROCK looks ahead to racing at Galway on Tuesday. His latest nap BYE BYE BABY was a 5/4 winner on Sunday.

No Irish racing yesterday but a nice 5/4 winning nap on Sunday with Bye Bye Baby who stayed on strongly in the closing stages of the Staffordstown Stud Stakes to win by two and a quarter lengths.

Back to the jumps on Tuesday for the card at Galway.

In the Galway City & Salthill Publicans Rated Novice Hurdle at 3pm I like the look of the Willie Mullins trained Shanning.

She was sent off a short priced odds-on favourite for her Irish debut at Sligo and stayed on well over the two mile course. She was also a winner on the flat when trained in France and in receipt of all the allowances here can maintain her unbeaten record at the hands of the more experienced types.

Dundrum Lad bids for a hat-trick after wins at Sligo and over course and distance here but they both came in handicaps and this looks tougher.

Mischievious Max looks a big danger from the Joseph O’Brien stable. He has been well backed this morning but the two miles might just prove on the sharp side for him. Two starts ago he was winning over 2m 5f and still staying on strongly over that trip.
