5/4 WINNING NAP: SHAMROCK struck on Monday when his nap and only bet Townshend was an easy winner at Roscommon.
Townshend ran out an easy winner of what looked a decent novice chase at Roscommon last night to land my nap.
Ruby Walsh made all the running onboard the Willie Mullins trained runner and had four and a half lengths in hand at the line.
Chief market rival Landofhopeandglory looked in need of the chasing experience and didn’t help his cause with a mistake at the first.
Roscommon race again tonight – with an all-jumping card starting at 5.40pm.
Joseph O’Brien saddles three in the closing bumper at 8.40pm and preference of his trio is for Border Control who ran well enough on debut at Ballinrobe when third to stable companion Tower Bridge.
However the likely winner looks State Of Nirvana who was a creditable third to Vocarium at Punchestown on her debut.
That looks the best form on offer and she should improve bundles for the run.
