Today I like the look of Ring Chief in the opener at Sligo. He won his maiden on the flat here when trained by Jim Bolger and has since run well over jumps in December at Fairyhouse when second to Thunder Zone who most recently was third in the AES Champion Four Year Old Hurdle at the Punchestown Festival.
Ring Chief looked outclassed when bringing up the rear in a Grade 3 at Fairyhouse last time out but this race is a totally different proposition tonight.
