SANIBEL ISLAND WON 6/4: MADE IT 5 WINNING NAPS FROM THE LAST 7 for SHAMROCK supporters.

Another winning NAP yesterday – Sanibel Island landed my NAP and ONLY BET of the day when winning the final race at Ballinrobe last night at 6/4.

Ladbrokes sponsor six of the seven races on tonight’s card at Punchestown where the going is expected to be good after the track have watered.

The maiden hurdles have attracted big fields but both are dominated by Willie Mullins trained short priced favourites.

In the 7.20 Saturnas makes his debut for Mullins having won a small race in France and in the Ladbrokes Get On The Grid Mares Maiden Hurdle at 7.50 Asthuria is likely to start at prohibitive odds after her Grade 1 third to Jer’s Girl at the Punchestown Festival. She did however make a few jumping errors that day and wouldn’t carry my money at such cramped odds.

I’ll stick with the bumpers that are serving me well at present. In the closing Bet In-Shop & Check On The Go With The Ladbrokes Grid App Flat Race at 8.50 I’ll stick with Moone Dancer who made a promising debut here in April.

It took a while for the penny to click but she stayed on well to finish fifth and can account for the Noel Meade debutant Fly Rory Fly and the Willie Mullins trained Wishmoor who has been off the course for 550 days.
