WEEKEND FOOTBALL PREVIEW What an incredible weekend of games we have ahead of us. There’s excellent matches on the whole weekend, and even better from what I see there are some brilliant prices to be had as well. I am doing my usual three games this week, but I am also going to back these three in the treble as well because I am very confident of them coming in.

Chelsea v Spurs

5.15pm Saturday Out of my three selections this would probably be the closes game, but if you were to compare these side’s recent form there is only one winner for me. Spurs have been growing in strength as we run to the close of the season, having cut the gap at the top of the league table to just four points. Chelsea are marginally favoured here but I am all in on Spurs.

Chelsea have been a little bit out of sorts lately, dropping a few points in the league. Of course the main highlight of their struggles were last weekend when they were comfortably beaten by Man United. That was a masterclass by Mourinho but it was worrying that Chelsea just couldn’t really get themselves into the game. Costa has been nowhere near his expected standard since the turning of the year, he looks out of sorts at the moment and just isn’t carrying his usual threat.

Going on current for and momentum you have to be backing Spurs to progress to the final here. My only worry is that it may take extra time to do so, but I am going to bite the bullet and back them in 90 minutes. Look for this being an excellent game, but for Spurs to ultimately come out on top.

TONY’S BEST BET:
Back Spurs at 2.84.

Arsenal v Man City

3.00pm Sunday This one has to be City, and I’m actually amazed they’re not even shorter on price considering the way Arsenal have been playing over the past couple of months. Even on Monday night where Arsenal got a win against Middlesbrough, they really really struggled. They went to a back three and Boro caused them a world of problems, this is the same Boro that have not been able to create anything going forward all season!

I’m really looking forward to seeing the team sheets for this one, or more so how they set up. If Arsenal opt to go for the back three again I see them getting absolutely torn apart. This Man City team and their attackers are obviously a different class than what Boro had to throw at Arsenal, they could put plenty of goals past Cech or Ospina. I would be amazed if Arsenal don’t revert to their normal four at the back, even if they do I see Man City having the better of them.

Getting to another FA Cup final wouldn’t even be enough for Arsenal fans to be happy with him staying. It would be excellent for him if he was to go out on a positive note but I just can’t see his side coming out on top. Arsenal have not beaten any teams that are in good form since Arpil. They’ve beaten a couple of Conference League teams to get this far and in the Premier League they have beaten West Ham and Boro who are both in dreadful form. Go all in on Man City for this one as Pep searches for silverware in his first season in England.

TONY’S BEST BET:
Back Man City at 1.9.

Real Madrid v Barcelona

7.45pm Sunday I don’t ordinarily look abroad for my picks but of course the El Clasico is the biggest regular season fixture in the entire world. People from all over the world tune in to watch the best players go up against each other in this bitter rivalry. Barcelona have had the better of Real Madrid in the league standings over the past few seasons but this year it has flipped. I don’t think I’m the only one who realises that this Barcelona team are past their best. They have been immense over the last number of years but all great things come to an end eventually.

One thing to note recently for Barca is their away form. Look at their last two rounds in the Champions League, they left themselves a mountain to climb after losing 4-0 to PSG away, and somehow overcame that deficit. They lost 3-0 away to Juve in the quarter final and couldn’t peg that back. Even a couple of weeks ago against Malaga, they lost 2-0 and it was by no means a lucky win for Malaga. Barca have been dreadful away from home and at this moment in time I just think Real are the better side.

For me this is the bet of the weekend. A Real Madrid side that could wrap up the league with a win on Sunday night, with close to a full strength team and their tails up after advancing past Bayern Munich. Barca on the other hand have been in indifferent form and have an uncertain future with Luis Enrique leaving in the summer. They can always come up with a vintage performance like they did in the second leg against PSG earlier this year, but I think Real will have too much for them in the Bernabeu.

TONY’S BEST BET:
Back Real Madrid at 2.14.
