07 February 2020: BETDAQ has renewed its partnership with Grade 1-winning National Hunt and Flat trainer Gavin Cromwell for the 2020 season.

The partnership sees Cromwell share his views and insights with the bookmaker’s multi-sport content site, tips.betdaq.com, alongside fellow BETDAQ ambassador Glen Johnson.

Cromwell, who previously worked with the likes of Gordon Elliot and the late Dessie Hughes, has been a BETDAQ brand ambassador since May 2018 and has enjoyed huge success since the partnership begun across both codes.

He trained 39 National Hunt winners during the 2018/19 campaign, with the highlight undoubtedly being Espoir D’Allen’s win in the Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, while he also trained Princess Yaiza to win the Group 1 Qatar Prix de Royallieu at Longchamp.

The County Meath trainer has gone from strength-to-strength this season with over 50 winners including an incredible spell in August 2019 where he trained 19 winners in 17 days. He has a number of exciting horses in his care this season including Champion Hurdle hope Darver Star.

BETDAQ Senior Marketing Executive Faolan Cahill said: “It’s fantastic to have signed with Gavin again for the 2020 season. His stock continues to rise in the training ranks and we’re really looking forward to continuing the partnership moving forward.

“He has already trained more winners this season than ever before and with the likes of Darver Star and Wolf Prince to look forward to this season, it’s a very exciting time to be involved with him.”
