As you might have seen, we had a special guest at training this week, when we welcomed WWE star Sheamus to Sunbury.

I know he’s a top professional wrestler but, given his size, I’m sure he could handle himself on a rugby pitch too.

It was good fun and a few of the lads also did the ring walk with him at Wembley Arena the night before at the London leg of the SmackDown world tour. Alex Corbisiero was baiting the crowd – I think he thought he was going to be the one taking on the Big Show – and Max Lahiff has been like a kid at Christmas all week.

The distraction helped me forget a bad weekend of football as an Arsenal fan after Manchester United, not content with ruining my last bet by beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, followed up with another three points against the Gunners.

Things are looking good for United at the moment and they are definitely the form team in these early stages of the title race.

For this week’s punt I’m giving Chelsea another chance – I just can’t see them losing at home to Liverpool.

The Reds might be unbeaten in their last five top flight games, but they have still lost (three) more league games than they’ve won (two) and they just can’t seem to get their season going.

Factor in a very long trip home from Russia, courtesy of Thursday’s Europa League match at Anzhi Makhachkala, and Brendan Rodgers’ small squad will be anything but fresh.

Of course, Chelsea were also in European action, but their recovery from a home tie with Shakhtar Donetsk will be a lot more straightforward.

The Blues might have had a little blip in the Premier League over the last couple of weeks, with a draw in Swansea coming on the back of the United loss, but they have a far superior team to Liverpool and look a great price at 2.02 on BETDAQ to claim the three points.
