I have suffered the curse of the draw in recent weeks so this time I’m going to embrace the stalemate wholeheartedly and back what looks a tricky Manchester derby to call to end level.

As hosts Manchester City head the betting, at 2.29 on BETDAQ, with Manchester United available at 3.3.

City did the double in this contest last term, unforgettably winning 6-1 at Old Trafford, and following that up with crucial 1-0 victory at home on their way to securing the title.

But United prevailed 3-2 at the Etihad in the FA Cup third round and took seven of the nine Premier League points available at their noisy neighbours in the three top flight games there before that.

Any outcome is possible on Sunday, but I just think the teams will cancel each other out, and neither manager would be too disappointed with the draw, which is on offer at 3.55 on BETDAQ.

It’s not easy for us Arsenal fans to look at the table at the moment, but the North West duo are pulling away at the top – third-placed Chelsea are 10 points behind the Red Devils and seven off City – so a point apiece would be far from a disaster.

In fact, I have a feeling that Sunday could be the day of the draw.

So, I’m splitting my charity bet again with £20 going on the Manchester derby and the remaining fiver on a treble of City v United, Everton v Tottenham and West Ham v Liverpool all to share the honours.

The accumulator can be backed at odds of 35.54 on BETDAQ MultipleBet.

Yes, it is a long shot, but there’s not much to choose between Spurs and Everton at the moment and the Toffees have drawn eight of their 15 games, which is a higher ratio than anyone else in the division.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are improving and West Ham doing well. This is another contest where both teams would view a draw positively.
