CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TUESDAY: We preview tonight’s Champions League games between MAN CITY v NAPOLI, NK MARIBOR v LIVERPOOL and REAL MADRID v SPURS with a recommended BETDAQ bet in each game.

MANCHESTER CITY V NAPOLI

7.45pm Who can stop Manchester City? Napoli are the next team on the chopping block, after City demolished Stoke 7-2 at the weekend. Obviously Napoli will be far more difficult to beat than the mid table sides that City have been punishing in recent weeks, however the way that they have been playing, it’s hard to see anyone stopping them at the moment. They have an excellent home record in the Champions League, even keeping five clean sheets in their last eight home games in European football. Given the form at City are in, the 1.62 on the home win looks massive – it’s very hard to ignore them at that price – like we said, Napoli will be a tougher test than the recent sides City have battered however the 1.62 looks great value.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Manchester City to beat Napoli at 1.62.

NK MARIBOR V LIVERPOOL

7.45pm Much was made about boring Jose Mourinho in the 0-0 draw between Liverpool and Manchester at the weekend. Maybe United didn’t really attempt to win, however Liverpool didn’t exactly create many chances, indeed they created very little. With that in mind, and although vastly different opposition, it’s difficult to back them at 1.2 away from home. Maribor have stopped some big sides winning here in the past – you have to go back to 2012/23 however since then Chelsea, Sevilla and Spurs have all failed to win here. In their opening game this Champions League campaign, they drew with Spartak Moscow – so we really don’t like the 1.2 on Liverpool. It’s tempting to lay that price, however we feel that there is better value in the NK Maribor +2 bet at 2.1 – it’s void if Liverpool win by exactly two goals, and everything points to a difficult trip for Liverpool.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
NK Maribor +2 goals to beat Liverpool at 2.1.

REAL MADRID V TOTTENHAM

7.45pm This game is the highlight of the night as Spurs travel to Madrid. Spurs have been excellent away from home recently and Harry Kane is really in top form – it’s going to be very difficult to beat the back-to-back Champions League winners away from home though, and the markets agree. The odds at the time of writing currently trade; Real Madrid 1.48, Tottenham 7.6 and the draw is 5.0. Real’s home record in the Champions League is incredibly good – they’ve only lost two games here since 2011 and while Spurs may present some problems for them, it’s hard to see anything but Real simply outclassing Spurs as they’ve hit top form in recent weeks. We feel that the 1.48 on the home win is just marginally big enough to back, and is certainly worth putting in your BETDAQ Multiples too.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Real Madrid to beat Tottenham at 1.48.
