CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TUESDAY: We preview Tuesday’s Champions League games between FC BASEL v MAN CITY and JUVENTUS v TOTTENHAM with recommended BETDAQ bets.

FC BASEL V MANCHESTER CITY

7.45pm The Champions League is back and now that all bets are only 2% commission on BETDAQ, let’s find some winners! Manchester City would have been delighted to see Basel come out of the pot and the markets agree – City are trading 1.07 to qualify over the two legs and it should be routine for them to get through here. To win the first leg away from home, they are trading as short as 1.38, with Basel 11.0 and the draw 5.4.

City breezed through the Group stages, only losing their final game when playing the second XI. They had been impressive in every game prior to that, however we can’t back them here at 1.38. Let’s not forget that Basel managed to beat United, and although it’s been proven United aren’t as good as City, 1.38 is still too short away from home at this stage of the Champions League against a side like Basel. Although we ultimately expect City to get the job done, Basel can keep this close and looking at the 1.5 goal handicap – Basel look good value at 1.95. First legs are always cagey affairs and Basel can keep this one tight in front of their fans.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Basel +1.5 goals to beat Manchester City at 1.95.

JUVENTUS V TOTTENHAM

7.45pm What a great night for Spurs, and what a great experience this will be! Spurs were poor in the Champions League last season, but they’ve turned things around this season – they face one of the toughest tests in the Champions League here though facing Juventus in front of their fans. The match odds at the time of writing trade; Juventus 2.06, Tottenham 4.5 and the draw is 3.35.

Spurs will be on a high coming into this game having seen off their bitter rivals Arsenal on Saturday, however it’s hard to go against Juventus in their own back yard. They’ve had an incredible record here in the Champions League in recent seasons, and are in good form coming into this one too – they’ve won nine of their last 11 at Juventus Stadium. We feel that Juventus should be odds on here, and look great value at 2.06 – their home record speaks for itself and with Spurs not being bombproof away from home, the value is with Juventus.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Juventus to beat Tottenham at 2.06.
