CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TUESDAY: We preview Tuesday’s two Champions League games NAPOLI v REAL MADRID and ARSENAL v BAYERN MUNICH with a recommended BETDAQ bet in each of the second leg games.

NAPOLI V REAL MADRID

7.45pm This will be a very tough ask for Napoli to go through to the next round after losing 3-1 in the first leg, however they do have some hope. Real Madrid have been struggling defensively in recent weeks, and have conceded seven goals in their last four games. Only getting a 3-3 draw at home against Las Palmas is obviously disappointing and they also lost 2-1 to Valencia since the first leg against Napoli too.

Napoli on the other hand had a nice win at the weekend away to Roma, and have an impressive record at home too. They’ve only lost once in their last 13 at home in all competitions, while they’ve only lost once in their last 19 at home in Europe too – obviously quite a large amount of those games have been in the Europa League, however it shows that it won’t be easy for Real tonight.

It’s difficult to know how Real will approach this one, as a draw or a one goal loss puts them through. It’s highly possible they will start quite cagey – especially considering they have been weak at the back lately. With this in mind and Napoli’s solid home record, we feel the value is in laying Real Madrid at 2.5.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Real Madrid at 2.5.

ARSENAL V BAYERN MUNICH

7.45pm This tie looks as good as over after Bayern thrashed Arsenal 5-1 in the first leg – however that doesn’t mean that we can’t find some decent bets tonight. The odds at the time of writing currently stand at; Arsenal 3.5, Bayern 2.16 while the draw is 3.9. You’d have to say that based on the first leg, Bayern look massive at 2.16.

Arsenal are a club in disarray at the moment. They offered little at the weekend when losing 3-1 to Liverpool, and it was odd that Wenger left out Sanchez – rumors this week have been that they’ve had a bust up at the training ground, however Wenger has strongly denied that anything happened. Regardless of that, they’ve now lost four from their last six in all competitions – and with Bayern seven points clear at the top of the Bundesliga, there’s no real reason why Ancelotti should ring the changes here.

Lahm is suspended while Boateng is out too, however as we said they have little reason to rest lots of players here with their domestic league looking wrapped up. We expect a strong Bayern side and the 2.16 does look huge – obviously this could change based on teams – however based on everything we know leading up the game, the value is with Bayern.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Bayern Munich to beat Arsenal at 2.16.
