CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: We preview Wednesday’s two Champions League quarter final second leg games between BAYERN MUNICH v SEVILLA and REAL MADRID v JUVENTUS, both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
BAYERN MUNICH V SEVILLA
7.45pm Out of all four Champions League Quarter Finals this week, this game is the closest – with Bayern “only” winning 2-1 in the first leg. They didn’t play at their best, however they still got the job done and you’d expect them to follow that up with another win in 90 minutes here. The markets agree, with the match odds at the time of writing currently trading; Bayern Munich 1.25, Sevilla 15.0 and the draw is 7.2.
Sevilla got the job done well against Manchester United in Old Trafford, however United’s tactics were poor that night and you’d have to expect that Bayern will play differently here. Bayern have an excellent record at home in the Champions League and we feel that they can cover the handicap here – they’re 1.7 -1.5 goals and that looks great value.

REAL MADRID V JUVENTUS
7.45pm Real took control of this tie in the first leg when winning 3-0 at the Juventus Stadium. Not many punters would have seen that coming considering Juve’s record at home – maybe they thought Real could sneak a win but to thrash them 3-0 was a surprise. Obviously the red card played a part, and Real took full advantage. They are favourites to win in 90 minutes again here, with the match odds trading; Real Madrid 1.66, Juventus 5.6 and the draw is 4.4.
It will be very interesting to see the tactics from both managers play out here. Real can afford to be quite defensive here and go in with the attitude of just playing out the 90 minutes as drama free as possible to get through. Juve have to attack, however they aren’t really used to playing that way away from home, and as we know with Real’s style – if Juve attack too much they will leave themselves open at the back. Ronaldo and Co can take full advantage of the space and we feel that Real are too big here at 1.66.
