CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WEDNESDAY: Incredible night of European football in store. We preview three games: Barcelona v Man City, Arsenal v Ludogorets and Celtic v Monchengladbach with recommended BETDAQ bets.

Barcelona v Manchester City

7.45pm What a game to look forward to as Pep Gaurdiola returns to the Camp Nou with his Manchester City side. The question is can he influence the result as Barcelona have beaten City in all four of their previous meetings, while Barcelona have also won all 12 of their home games under Luis Enrique – so it should be a tough night ahead for City! An obvious place to start is goals, Barcelona have found the net in all of their last 17 home Champions League games, not good news for a City side who conceded three away to Celtic, and after losing to Spurs and drawing Everton the weekend, a 3-0 or 4-0 win here for Barcelona who see City going through what you might call a mini-crisis, results wise anyway.

Over 2.5 goals is currently trading 1.46 which is probably a bit short for backing, but if you do thinking Barcelona will run riot you can back Any Other Home Win which is 4.7 at the moment. We feel the best option here is to keep is simple with a Barcelona win at 1.51, at a shade bigger than over 2.5, it seems the value is here.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Barcelona to beat Manchester City at 1.51.

Arsenal v Ludogorets

7.45pm With Arsenal currently priced at 1.17 in the match odds market, it’s probably a case of how many can they score here and what over/under line offers the best value for us. We don’t think you’ll see Arsenal playing a second string side here either as the pressure is still on for top spot with PSG after their draw, so we feel the bet here is Any Other Home Win at around 2.9, we feel that Arsenal can score plenty. Ludogorets have yet to win an away Champions League game while they have only managed one win in their eight games in total – Arsenal should be way above their level and an early goal will make it a long night for the away side.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Any Other Home Win (Arsenal to score 4 or more and win) at 2.9.

Celtic v Monchengladbach

7.45pm Who saw the 3-3 coming in Celtic’s last game against Man City? Not many! But the atmosphere always makes Celtic Park a tough place to travel too and with these two sides battling for a Europa League spot, this should be a great game. Monchengladbach have a poor away record both domestically and in the Champions League and that could be the difference here, they failed to score in three of their four away Champions League games and they’ve managed just four wins in their last 20 away games in the Bundesliga. Celtic don’t have a great record in the Champions League either losing eight of their last ten, however Monchengladbach a step down quality wise – we feel that home advantage will be massive to Celtic here and the Monchengladbach lay is a great value position at 2.38.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Monchengladbach at 2.38.
