BETDAQ FOR BIGGER ASCOT VALUE

He is the invisible man. No one knows his name. He’s not on TV. He’s not in the papers. He’s only available, exclusively, to BETDAQ backers through BETDAQ TIPS. Free of charge.

You know him as Daqman, and Royal Ascot reveals his consistent winner-finding at value prices. More to the point, it lays bare the sensational offers available in the BETDAQ orange.

Just look at Daqman’s big hitters this century in the Royal Hunt Cup alone. At BETDAQ morning offers, they scored at 31.0, 17.0, 16.5, 15.5 (twice) and 14.5.

Here they are with the SP on the left, which adds up to 77 points profit, compared with 104 points on BETDAQ, if you had taken the offers that Daqman did on the morning of the race. That’s a staggering difference of 35% more with BETDAQ.

THIS AFTERNOON FOR MORNINGTON

3.45 Brighton The best race on Monday’s Brighton card has also attracted the fewest number of runners.

Just five go to post for the class 4 handicap over a shade short of 1m 4f and I’m very sweet on the chances of Mornington making it a hat-trick of recent wins.

The Marcus Tregoning trained runner is a full 15lb higher in the handicap compared to April when he won a handicap over a shorter trip here but he bolted home when 8lb higher at Bath last time out and could still be in front of the handicapper, especially as he remains relatively lightly raced.

Wapping is harder to assess. He won a three horse race at Bath last time but made hard work of landing the odds and I’m not convinced the extra two furlongs is going to suit in what looks a much tougher race than his previous encounter.

Locally trained Impressive Day won over a shorter trip here last month, scooting home by four lengths at 25/1 but she is up 8lb for that win which was hard to forecast on her previous efforts – including only beating two home at Windsor on her only previous turf effort.

4.30 Ayr The ground is soft at Ayr and off bottom weight Bunce must have a great chance of grabbing one of the two places. He ran two good races here at Ayr on soft ground last season, finishing fourth on both occasions in big fields that looked more competitive than this. He’s actually down in the weights since then.

Top weight My Name Is Rio has to give  a massive 21lb to the selection but proved he can handle big weights in the ground with a good run at Doncaster 10 days ago. He is though 12 without a win now and might need respite from the handicapper to get his head back in front.

6.30 Windsor Interesting maiden over six furlongs for which preference is for Cobalty Isle who ran a superb race on debut to finish a head second to Crafty Madam at Salisbury.

He is preferred to likely favourite Mudallel who showed a lot of promise on debut at Newmarket last season but disappointed on his reappearance at Doncaster when tried over a mile.

The shorter trip might well help – but it’s a rather dramatic change of plan inside just ten days and at 2.16 on BETDAQ at the time of writing not a plan that I’m that enthusiastic on signing up to.
