15 MEETINGS IN THREE DAYS IN ENGLAND: It’s intended to be the season in the sun, with five meetings on top tracks in England today, tomorrow and Saturday, but beware of major going differences, with descriptions varying between firmish and softish ground. Watch the first race at each to get an early view of the going.

TOMORROW: Sandown’s Coral-sponsored meeting, featuring the Coral-Eclipse on Saturday, launches tomorrow with the Coral Marathon.

ALL SET UP FOR A DAPPER DASH

1.00 Haydock Win or lose, Dapper Man could be running for you in the opener at Haydock. He goes for a hat-trick in the race and is expected to try to make all under Saffie Osborne, with an opening 7.4 on BETDAQ an ideal back-and-lay launch.

Dapper Man has not been at his best since scoring at Ripon in the Spring but that was his only previous race with Saffie as his pilot, and blinkers are back on, as they were that day.

BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE 7.4 Dapper Man

1.20 Perth Has Daryl Jacob gone electric yet? If not, he will be pouring the petrol for a solo ride at Perth when he knows he has to be at Newton Abbot tomorrow, again just for one ride.

Daryl, who had a winner at the last Perth meeting, today rides Ballycairn, who would run away from these on his bumper form, but needs cheekpieces to concentrate his hurdling.

The Ballycairn stable also runs Calagogo, who sets the standard on form, so has to be your saver.

BETDAQ value 4.2 Ballycairn

NUANCE NEEDS THIS BIT OF CUT

2.45 Haydock William Haggas has a fantastic 26% strike rate at Haydock, despite a high volume of runners and, when the Yorkshire-born trainer combines with Scottish jockey Daniel Tudhope, they strike at 33%.

In the Cheveley Park colt, Nuance, he has a two-year-old others wish they had, by Frankel out of a Dubawi mare.

Triple Time (Kevin Ryan) is another Frankel; La Pulga a solid Sandown winner but has to defy a penalty; and Modern Games is with Charlie Appleby so has to be feared.

But Nuance caught the eye on today’s course when the ground was too firm. It’s nice and easy for his reappearance; stepped up a furlong, which should also work well for him.

BETDAQ value 5.1 Nuance

3.20 Haydock Local trainer Tom Dascombe has been out of form but broke the sequence with a winner at Thirsk yesterday.

Three-year-olds have a 50% record in this handicap and his Fools Rush In goes for a hat-trick after scoring here on his return to action.

Norsthernpowerhouse is a CD winner back on his last winning mark, and another three-year-old, Alphonde Karr, gets weight all round.

IT’S MY SWALLOW 50 YEARS ON

3.30 Yarmouth They wouldn’t name a modern horse Brigadier Gerard or Mill Reef but here is My Swallow, whose namesake finished third under Frankie Durr to the illustrious duo in the 2,000 Guineas of 1971.

Here is the 2021 version of My Swallow, who will be favourite for this mile handicap for Sir Michael Stoute and Ryan Moore.

Lightly-raced My Swallow drops a grade after a close-run thing for a class 3 at Chelmsford early last month.

Nearest danger in the market was Morbik, but he is withdrawn and Surprise Picture would not be a surprise! Hugo Palmer has had a fine run, win and place.

BETDAQ value 3.1 My Swallow

7.23 Newbury Logician won this 1m 4f handicap last year on the way to winning the Doncaster St leger.

A longer trip and left-handed track may help King Of Tsavo, who also has the benefit of a low draw and an easier surface.

Reina Del Mar was a narrow winner over today’s CD, just getting up to beat Scampi, who gets a pound as an equaliser.

NABHAN FOR A BELATED DOUBLE

7.38 Epsom (Ladies Derby) The last winner of this in 2019, Nabhan, has been saved up for another crack at it under Jessica Llewellyn, who won on him then and is one of few in this female-amateur-jockeys race still able to claim.

Worried about his age? In fact, winners before Nabhan were aged 8 (twice), 9 and 10 in successive years. A wise old hand is clearly a help to the ladies!

BETDAQ value 24.0 Nabhan

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
