THERE’S A SUPERNAP TODAY WITH THE STRIKE RATE ON 66%: Daqman starts the day with horses to follow on Flat and over the Jumps. Then he looks at three meetings, picking the best at Ayr, Exeter and Worcester, including a supernap. The supernap strike rate is 66%

DAQMAN ON THE CESAREWITCH MEETING STARTS TOMORROW: Look out tomorrow for the start of the Cesarewitch meeting at Newmarket. It’s on terrestrial TV and the features are the Fillies Mile and the Old Rowley Cup, a punting handicap.

FORTUNE FIVE FOR THE FLAT FINALE

FORTUNE COOKIES (Flat): Here’s a final fling at trapping the ‘good things’ before the end of the season. The idea is to make enough from their winnings to pay for your outsiders and the BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE-value punts in Daqman.

Baeed (William Haggas): Unbeaten in five starts, going through the grades until taking the Prix Du Moulin Group 1 early last month under Jim Crowley (Queen Elizabeth 11 Stakes, Saturday, October 16): .

Inspiral (John and Thady Gosden, Fillies Mile, Friday): The two-year-old colts have found a leader in Native Trail but the fillies more so, with this 3-3 May Hill winner. (Fillies Mile, Newmarket, Friday)

Luxembourg (Aidan O’Brien): But is Native Trail really the tops? This Camelot colt’s Beresford win was, say racereaders, ‘extremely impressive’ and he is ‘potentially top class over a mile’ (Futurity, Doncaster, October 23).

Mishriff (John and Thady Gosden): The Sheema Classic and Juddmonte International winner goes for the British Champions Middle Distance (1m 2f) on Saturday, October 16.

Tenebrism (Aidan O’Brien): Last to first, and bolted up, in the Cheveley Park Stakes, at the Newmarket Cambridgeshire meeting: ‘I didn’t think it was possible,’ said O’Brien. ‘If she is to go again this season, it will be America.’

PRIMED AS FIRST JUMPER TO FOLLOW

FORTUNE COOKIES (Jumps): Did you see that? As I forecast, Her Indoors stormed through the field at Nottingham yesterday on her first day back but the race was over by then and it’s a case of ‘next time’.

She’s surely primed for a win right now and will probably stay with her hurdles career now though, as I said yesterday, she is extremely well in on the Flat and her trainer, Alan King, is riding high under both Rules.

FIREWATER LOVES AYR ON THE SOFT

⭕ 1.30 Ayr Last year’s winner off today’s mark, Firewater is 2-2 at Ayr on soft ground, whereas Natchez Trace, Innse Gall and Dr Eckleburgh are winners on good or even firm terrain only. BETDAQ 5.9

⭕ 2.05 Ayr Temper Trap (BETDAQ 4.6) has been in good form lately and the addition of cheekpieces should land him this low-grade handicap, with his market rival Caballero on 24 runs since his last win and with his best effort this season when dropped into selling company.

Trap’s trainer, Tim Easterby, has broken all stable records with 130 winners this year for total earnings of £1,878,247 and, I can reveal, is planning plenty of winter power!

⭕ 2.30 Exeter Team Tizzard have had their troubles and we hope to see them back in the big time, with Joe poised to take over the licence from Colin.

From a punting point of view, a stable slump means that some horses which might have done well during the doldrums return as under rated, literally… down in the weights because they have under achieved.

Sizing At Midnight (BETDAQ 4.5) started the year off a mark of 135. Now here he is, a three-time winner on a sound surface, and back to form the last day, racing off 116. Well in, or what!

He’s up against Golden Taipan who’s won only a bumper in 2020 and 2021 to date, and is running up an ominous bridesmaid sequence of 2223.

Neville’s Cross struggles to hold his form, beaten 26 lengths and 40 lengths either side of success at Uttoxeter in July.

QUICK DOUBLE PLANNED FOR PETER

⭕ 2.48 Worcester Outlaw Peter ran second at Navan to the subsequent Cheltenham Champion Bumper fourth, Three Stripe Life, in January, before leaving ‘Shark’ Hanlon’s for Paul Nicholls.

Outlaw Peter would have won easily – he was well clear of the remainder – if he hadn’t been up against a star player and should take this warm-up race before making his hurdles debut at Newton Abbot on Sunday.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
