WIN, WIN, WIN IN ANOTHER FLYER TO THE WEEK FOR DAQMAN: Daqman scored three out of three yesterday. Good prices to go with them but, as ever, he staked to win a set amount, a plan which even on Sunday with one winner, made sure he finished in front.

Monday: win 30 points/no losers
WON 11-4 PUNCHBOWL FLYER
WON 3-1 FAUSTUS
WON 8-11 LUISA CASATI (nap)

Sunday: win 2.75 on the day
WON 85-40 VELOCIDAD

HE TIPS FOR ENGLAND WITH CHAMPAGNE ON ICE TONIGHT: Last week Daqman had four days in a row with at least one winner. He’s at Brighton and Hamilton, then Windsor tonight, where he has the champagne on Ice. Daqman could tip for England!

THE FORTUNE COOKIES BY RATING

There’s a 38lb spread. That’s my answer to those who say all my Fortune Cookies are top horses. My only problem is the same as any leading trainer: how to avoid good horses meeting each other.

So I’ve listed them with their official ratings: top ratings will be the choice when this happens, with saver stakes on any other(s) in the race.

There are just seven left in the Coral-Eclipse in total but lack of serious rain could crop the field down further.

125 ADDEYBB (William Haggas): Needs rain before the Coral-Eclipse.
125 PALACE PIER (Team Gosden): Waits for the Sussex Stakes.
122 MISHRIFF (Team Gosden): Coral-Eclipse favourite.
122 SUBJECTIVIST (Mark Johnston) Goodwood Cup, July 27; surely a supernap day!
120 AL AASY (William Haggas): Still on target for the King George at Ascot
120 SNOWFALL (Aidan O’Brien) Misses the Coral-Eclipse.
120 ST MARK’S BASILICA (Aidan O’Brien) On target for the Coral-Eclipse.
117 WONDERFUL TONIGHT (David Menusier) The ground will decide: needs plenty of rain before the Coral-Eclipse.
114 GLASS SLIPPERS (Kevin Ryan) Should be well fit again for the King George sprint at Goodwood (July 30)
113 CAMPANELLE (Wesley Ward): Misses the July Cup but back for British Champions Day.
112 LAZULI (Charlie Appleby) Runs in the Coral Charge at Sandown on Saturday.
112 MOHAAFETH ( William Haggas) Misses the Coral-Eclipse for the King George.
110 ALENQUER (William Haggas) Looks better and better as the Derby results play out
108 REAL WORLD (Saeed Bin Surror): Does he try further (John Smith’s Cup, 1m 2f+), stick to a mile (Golden Mile at Goodwood) or drop back to 7f (Ascot International or Goodwood).
087 EAST ASIA (Ian Williams) Did not act on Tapeta last week and is now 0-13 on AW. All the better for his odds in the return to turf in the Heritage Handicap (Friday week) on the July Course.

2yo QUICK SUZY (Gavin Cromwell): Top two-year-old fillies’ races in the autumn.

BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE Coral-Eclipse Stakes, Saturday: 2.62 Mishriff, 2.75 St Mark’s Basilica, 4.5 Addeybb, 9 Wonderful Tonight, 12 Armory, 21 Japan, 34 El Dreama

BOUGHEY A BANKER AT BRIGHTON

⭕ 2.00 Brighton George Boughey, trainer find of the season, is 5-8 at Brighton and, at the last meeting there, his Australia filly Almadrina made sudden improvement.

She’s strengthened up over the winter, says Boughey, who cleverly places her in another mixed handicap where she gets weight from the field, despite a 6lb penalty. I asked for evens this morning.

HEADINGLEY CAN CLEAN BOWL’EM

⭕ 3.50 Hamilton Three-year-olds with Mark Johnston as trainer bid for a hat-trick in this class-2 mile handicap, and the Dawn Approach colt Headingley goes in to bat for them.

He’s won cn firm ground and is blinkered first time off a low mark, which is even lower granted the second-season allowance.

Running Beauty is hot favourite but won in a slower time than when Headingley was third two grades lower.

Chichester won in first time cheekpieces at Carlisle and has kept good company (Good Birthday, Global Spirit, Pivoine).

But the form pick has to be Lincoln third Hortzadar, down the field in the Hunt Cup. The only one used to this grade on a regular basis, and rain would make him clear top of the list.

BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE value 5 Hortzader, 8 Headingley

MARK THIS GAMBLE: ICE IS HOT!

⭕ 8.20 Chepstow Is it another Sir Mark Prescott sequence horse? Word was out last night that Polar Ice is the business at Chepstow tonight but the gamble still left even money and tips against this morning (Betdaq 2.1).

Polar Ice fits the Prescott pattern: after being unfancied (10-1, 20-1, 28-1) in the requisite three maidens, he suddenly leaps forward half a mile from 7f and 1m races to this 1m 4f today.

Even at this level, he’s dropping from class-5 novice events to a class-6 handicap, but is highly likely to be worth up to another stone very quickly, so potentially a class 5 and class 4 climber, even class 3.

Beat The Storm looks exposed: he has already been beaten twice, albeit placed both times in class-6 handicaps.

Sammy Sunshine has also had nine races, winning in class 5 but that was a maiden and he came unstuck (third) on returning to handicaps at Southwell and has not been placed in two starts since.

Sisterandbrother also makes his handicap debut and also jumps up in trip: his first three maiden starts were over 7f.

George Bancroft didn’t make much impression at up to 100-1 in maidens and a novice, and was 59 lengths last of seven on his handicap debut.

Where You At, a bridesmaid in class 5 (form 42330), was third and sixth when dropped to the sixth grade.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
