DAQMAN BIDS FOR A NAPS HAT-TRICK WITH 100-30 KEMPTON BET: Duhallow Lad (WON 5-4 nap) made it back-to-back naps for Daqman yesterday, following Battleoverdoyen (WON 2-5), his Sunday supernap. Today he turns mainly to the Polytrack card at Kempton, where he naps a BETDAQ 4.3 offer in the morning markets.

HEADS UP! HORSES TO FOLLOW UPDATE AND WEEKEND SPECIALS: Daqman starts the day with an update on his Fortune Cookie hopefuls, adding three more to the list but deleting two. This follows his Arkle story yesterday. Tomorrow is his preview of the weekend racing, which last week spotted a 20-1 money-spinner on Saturday.

FORTUNE COOKIES NOTEBOOK

⚠️ HEADS UP! Fakir d’Oudairies, Notebook and Thyme Hill are added to the trialists for the 2020 Fortune Cookies horses to follow. Those with impending dates:

ALTIOR (Nicky Henderson) 2.05 Ascot, Saturday, first run over longer trip.

BATTLEOVERDOYEN (Gordon Elliott) After 2-2 over fences, one spectacular one workmanlike, his date with other top novices – in the Drinmore (Fairyhouse on December 1) – takes him to the top or stops him in his tracks.

BRELAN D’AS (Paul Nicholls) Showed his real ability on Saturday, after failing to improve on his rating of Spring, 2018. Could still land a big handicap.

ELEGANT ESCAPE (Colin Tizzard) Ladbrokes Trophy (Newbury, November 30)

ENVOI ALLEN (Gordon Elliott) Royal Bond, Fairyhouse, December 1

FAKIR d’OUDAIRIES (Joseph O’Brien) new addition

JOHNSON KNOWS THE SCORE

1.40 Fakenham A day of bad horses over Jumps, so I’m returning to the Flat after this, a chase won twice already by Henry Daly, who lined up Black Tulip under Richard Johnson, with a good effort at Stratford last month.

Chequered View beat one horse home in her only winning start in the last year or so, and who was her rider when she made a hash of things at Hereford on the last day? Richard Johnson.

Her stable is 40 days without a winner, and its last three to finish from five starters have been beaten a total of 103 lengths; the two others pulled up.

2.20 Kempton Three-year-olds will be four in a few weeks, and no wonder they take front rank in the market for this mile race.

William Haggas’s Montatham has a clear advantage over the three others of that aged group in that he’s drawn in the one stall; the others are in 9, 10, 11.

The stable’s current form is 8-10 placed (two winners), and Jim Crowley is 2-2 for the yard.

CREATIONIST CLEVER PLACING

3.20 Kempton (London Middle Distance Series Final) James Fanshawe is striking at 40% and 7.8 BETDAQ offer The Pinto Kid won his qualifier on similar slow Polytrack in June.

Stepped up to 1m 6f for another convincing win – this time at Chelmsford – he looks to have the stamina and speed to be placed anywhere in the race, and so is another potential winner for the three-year-olds.

John Gosden is 4-5 but Good Tidings failed to make a leap in grade on the last day and this is another rise in quality into class 2. The handicapper tickles the ratings so that he and his conqueror, Just The Man, should now dead-heat.

But both could be turned over by Creationist (8.8 offers), who was closing behind them that day and has been nursed into this – better off at the weights – third run for Roger Charlton after being gelded.

DANCE TO A HAGGAS DOUBLE

4.15 Chelmsford Story Of Light, a talking horse of Charlie Appleby’s which flopped after a gamble at York in May, returns gelded and hooded.

Such desperation might work for the Godolphin blue, with the beast dropped dizzily in class, but he’s odds on and opens up the market to a 6.4 bar one situation which surely exaggerates his chance.

I’m tempted to oppose by following up on my Kempton Haggas horse (2.20) with another from the stable, Dance Inthestreet, very promising on her recent debut and with Georgia Cox 2-3 for the yard.
