DAQMAN’S LIST WILL ENABLE YOU TO FOLLOW THE WINNERS: It’s appropriate that Daqman should today reveal more horses to follow for his Fortune Cookies squad. The list coincides with the news that Enable has won Cartier Horse Of The Year for the second time. Daqman spotted Enable from the very beginning and Fortune Cookies enjoyed her 12 consecutive winning races. Other award winners were Too Darn Hot, Star Catcher, Stradivarius, Blue Point and Pinatubo.

EXPECT RUNNERS AT THE CHELTENHAM THREE-DAY MEETING: Today’s list will be well tested at Cheltenham later this week (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) when you can expect a new series of supernaps and a 13th season of Daqman v Pricewise. Bull’s-eye naps are on a yearly basis (they started in January).

Daqman v Pricewise new season on Friday (10-point level stakes)
Bulls-eye naps (8-16) 50% (256pts profit to recommended stakes)
Supernaps new season on Friday (20-point level stakes)

FORTUNE COOKIES: PLAY 21

⚠️ HEADS UP! Every season Daqman assembles horses to follow for the Jumps, intended to form the backbone of his Fortune Cookies in the new year.

He is gradually building up the list and now has 21 running for a place in the final dozen to be announced after Christmas. Here they are with known engagements:

ALTIOR (Nicky Henderson) Saturday week in the Lancashire Chase at Haydock or straight to the King George?

AS YOU LIKE (Jonjo O’Neill) The yard is in poor form but As You Like does not follow stable trends, as his form since June, 2018, suggests. He has pressed on regardless for a rise of 31lb with returns of 11222112.

Due to step up in trip now, with Friday’s Cheltenham cross-country on the cards, it could be much ado about nothing or all’s well that ends well.

BATTLEOVERDOYEN (Gordon Elliott) Has a date with the Drinmore at Fairyhouse on December 1

BLACK OP (Tom George) Beat Lostintranslation over hurdles and made a good start to his chasing career. The long-term target will be a chase at Aintree at the Grand National meeting.

BRAID BLUE (Gordon Elliott) 3m winner twice on summer ground, stayed on well after 2m 5f at Cheltenham.

BRELAN D’AS (Paul Nicholls) Engaged Friday and Saturday at Cheltenham

CHAMP (Nicky Henderson) Made a champion start to his chasing career at Newbury but still has engagements in the top hurdles races.

DELTA WORK (Gordon Elliott) Last chance: Leopardstown, Saturday, December 28.

ELEGANT ESCAPE (Colin Tizzard) Lancashire Chase (Haydock, November 23) or Ladbrokes Trophy (Newbury, November 30.)

ENVOI ALLEN (Gordon Elliott) Royal Bond, Fairyhouse, December 1

FLORESSA (Nicky Henderson) Unlucky at Newbury last Thursday

FRODON (Paul Nicholls) Lancashire Chase (Haydock, November 23)

GETAWAY TRUMP (Paul Nicholls) Cheltenham, Sunday .

KLASSICAL DREAM (Willie Mullins) Saturday’s Morgiana Hurdle at Punchestown could see the reappearance of the Cheltenham Supreme Novice who was Champion Novice on the Punchestown track six weeks later. Saturday could be a ninth Morgiana in a row for Mullins.

LOSTINTRANSLATION (Colin Tizzard) Lancashire Chase (Haydock, November 23) or straight to the King George.

POKER PLAY (David Pipe) Friday and Saturday Cheltenham engagements.

RUSSIAN BILL (Noel Meade) One for the country Grand Nationals.

SAMCRO (Gordon Elliott) Drinmore next (Fairyhouse, Sunday, December 1)

SAM SPINNER (Jedd O’Keefe) Electric start to his chasing career.

VINNDICATION (Kim Bailey) Still big prices for King George and Gold Cup.

ZANZA (Philip Hobbs) Cheltenham, Sunday

EXETER DOUBLE IN THE PIPELINE?

12.45 Bangor This won’t take much winning and could be another for the bang in form Nigel Twiston-Davies yard (9 winners from last 37) with Arctic Gold

A five times winner over hurdles, he’s yet to open his account over fences but has finished runner-up on five occasions and has generally been competing at a much higher level. Two years ago he was still in the lead in the Grand Sefton at Aintree before falling four out.

This is a whole new lower level and it would be disappointing if couldn’t account for Mr McGo who has so far struggled to see out his races over fences and may need dropping to the minimum trip.

3.40 Exeter David Pipe’s current strike-rate of 2 winners from his last 22 runners can only be described as luke warm at face value but when you look at his shorter priced runners they’ve all generally been running their races and running well.

The local trainer can strike here at Exeter with Nordic Combined who looks to have been given a real good chance by the handicapper who has only nudged him up a pound for an excellent third at Ascot first time out this season. He was beaten three lengths to Gumball and Red Force One and should improve plenty for the run. Given that was a Listed handicap, he should find today’s task much easier and goes well in soft ground.

It’s no surprise that with a name like Haldon Hill the Victor Dartnall trained runner is a regular here at Exeter. Four of his five career starts have been here including a bumper win in heavy ground. He was beaten 23 lengths into third in a maiden hurdle when last seen out and looks to have plenty enough weight for his handicap debut. Add into the mix that the stable are not firing either at the moment.

4.10 Exeter David Pipe has an outstanding chance here too with Queens Cave who frankly looks head and shoulders above her rivals.

The mare started her career with a point win followed up by a bumper win and has run well since over hurdles apart from a sensational 1/14 defeat at Ayr when pulled up.

She put that run well behind her with a solid effort at Chepstow last time out when runner-up to the odds-on Silver Forever and this should be straight forward – the only danger being if the Paul Nicholls debutant Lisa De Vassy is above average but plenty from the stable have been needing their first runs.
