BETDAQ SPONSORED KEMPTON QUARTET: DAQMAN previews the four BETDAQ sponsored races on the Kempton card tonight in search of a midweek winner. Feature race has nearly £23,000 to the winner the Winners Are Welcome At Betdaq E.B.F. Stallions Hyde Stakes (Listed).

OUCH: His nap yesterday Dursey Sound unseated McCoy at the final fence when in with every chance.

It never gets easier, seeing your main bet of the day crash out at the final obstacle when holding every chance.

Dursey Sound was under the McCoy drive and for my money would have won. Of course I would say that, the official comment was:

Tracked winner, went clear 2nd 12th, ridden and 2 lengths down 2 out, rallied to press winner and every chance when blundered and unseated rider last.

It’s all conjecture but I just thought the horse was responding better than King Of The Wolds who was left clear to go on and win by 64 (yes 64) lengths.

No obstacles in the way at Kempton tonight and it’s a cracking card to look forward to.

The afternoon action is from Hexham and Warwick, with an eight race card on the all-weather at Lingfield.

The ground is heavy at Hexham and the course stages the marathon sapping Solar Signs Handicap Chase over four miles.

As you would expect for such an extreme test several of these are stepping into the unknown in terms of distance including the favourite Merlin’s Wish who looks a little on the short side given his limited experience.

I really like Matmata de Tendron on the BETDAQ place market at around 2.9. It’s a perfect place race with the eight runners and the old boy of the party has been successful over this trip and ground here at Hexham. He’s a bigger price to be placed than Merlin’s Wish is to win and I have two more chances of getting paid out !!

4.30 Kempton (£500 Free Bets At Betdaq Handicap) Hugely competitive start to the BETDAQ quartet and it’s around 11/2 the field at the time of writing. It’s time to hit the place market (again) this time with Perfect Cracker who returns after a break. The Clive Cox trained runner won his maiden here by 10 lengths and in some ways has paid the price for that win since with his handicap mark but his current mark of 71 looks sensible and will be a fresh horse horse here tonight who looks a good option at around 3.6 on the place market.

6.30 Kempton (Winners Welcome At Betdaq Listed Hyde Stakes) The race of the day and I’m finding it very hard to get away from the market leader Graphic who is bidding for his fifth win in six starts and has become a transformed horse since the application of headgear. My starting point often is to try and find weaknesses in the favourite but in Graphic’s case it’s hard. His only recent defeat came in the Cambridgeshire but still emerged with credit finishing fourth to Educate, Since then he has recorded wins at York and Nottingham winning easily by four lenghths. He seems to handle the all-weather with equal aplomb and I see no reason why, at the age of four, he can’t carry on improving and take this Black Type race.

7.00 Kempton (Betdaq – The Sports Betting Exchange – Handicap) Arch Villain heads the BETDAQ market but still looks firmly with the grips of the handicapper. His last win on the all-weather was off a mark 10lb lower and he only got home by a neck. Perennial, a runaway winner of a claimer at Wolverhampton last time out is preferred.

7.30 Kempton (Betdaq 1st UK Race Commission Free Handicap) It’s a return to the place market with a little interest in Scottish Star who often knocks on the door. He was a creditable second here last time and whilst it’s fair comment to think he’s high in the weights – he does have every chance of running into a place.
