FULL CHELTENHAM HORSES-TO-FOLLOW RACES: Today Daqman reveals the Cheltenham entries for his horses to follow, become Fortune Cookies for the festival and beyond. They have already made more than 500 points profit along the way through the trials. This week is the first acceptance stage and, as we saw in his column yesterday, bookies odds and BETDAQ offers are now worth comparing.

IT’S A QUESTION OF RELYING ON RYAN MOORE: Daqman calls on Ryan Moore to land his sixth consecutive nap but it’s a moderate day, with otherwise low stakes, and his headlines all have question marks!

START OF THE FIBONACCI SEQUENCE?

2.30 Lingfield John Gosden has had three winners since Boxing Day and Court House, an easy scorer here a year or so ago, has had a recent run and receives weight from his rival.

Narrowly beaten at Newmarket by the ‘Ascot Derby’ winner, Old Persian, and jockey Robert Havlin is currently leading Flat jockey, percentage wise in the last fortnight.

2.45 Doncaster Going back to Misty For Me and Fasliyev on the dam’s side, Fibonacci is a big, strong sort, much better than the bare form, and Alan King has had four winners since the turn of the year.

Class 3 on the Flat (a winner for Hugo Palmer) compared with his stablemate Outofthequestion’s class 5, ‘he’ was not fancied first two runs (at 25-1 and 40-1) after being gelded.

Have a pound on early at around 17.0 on BETDAQ and hope he doesn’t go the Fibonacci way from 17.0 to 17.0 to 27.0, 37.0, 57.00, 87.00 (That’s enough maths – Ed).

WILL STYLE DE GARDE MAKE A FUSS?

2.55 Taunton Horses make fools of men. I remember one of mine, head in his chest first circuit at Market Rasen but virtually pulled up when he was ‘asked’ towards the business end of the race, hanging his off fore like a lame dog when the whip was drawn.

The jockey got off as quickly as he could, thinking the beast had broken something but his mount then proceeded to walk calmly away, as if to say ‘fooled ya!’

Style De Garde didn’t get that far. He decided on a less subtle approach at Hereford, where he’d won the previous month(!): he ducked when the tapes went up and ran out.

He’s usually very keen but so, too, are Gwalia and Totterdown, and the pace dispute between the three could bring out the stamina in Not That Fuisse, who steps up in trip, and gets almost a stone from Style De Garde.

Delete his Cheltenham efforts and his first run back, and his form on conventional tracks is 112 since this time last year.

RYAN MOORE FOR SIXTH SUPERNAP?

3.15 Doncaster The ground is right for Laugharne to attempt a transition to fences, but he’ll larn a lot from the race.

He has to give a stone to established chaser Fifty Shades, who also likes the good ground (and no doubt responds well to the whip!): BETDAQ 4.2 taken. The Christian Williams stable is four from nine in the last fortnight and he is leading trainer at this time of year.

Plantagenet has to carry a penalty and is among several front-runners I fancy catching on the better ground today.

6.15 Kempton While The Lads were making their millions, Mrs Doreen Tabor had a hat-trick at a lower level with Cenotaph.

The sequence was interrupted when Ryan Moore was doing duty elsewhere but he’s back today and the horse goes well fresh.

Corinthia Knight (BETDAQ 3.6) beat Danzan at the late-January Kempton meeting a year ago but has to give weight to him here, though was the only one backed against Cenotaph (1.92).

Both like to lead or race prominently and a duel upfront would make it easier for Cenotaph to wait on them and pounce.
